Tacoma Fixtures (Valley Line) sold defective cabinets to Polygon who installed them throughout my neighborhood. Within a few years, many neighbors cabinets started to peel because the facings were not applied correctly. My own facings started to peel after about 5 years. I talked to them about it around that time and was told they would make a good deal with me to replace them but I wasnt financially ready to do so (I was not offered free replacements but thought what they offered was fair enough). Now after 12 years, and with the cabinets peeling much worse, I obtained quotes for replacements and was ready to talk to someone about discounts. I was given quite the run around. I asked to speak to the owner numerous times and he never called me back. Finally I got a call from a man claiming to be their sales manager, Jim. He told me after 12 years, I shouldnt expect a discount, because too much time had gone by. He likened it to a 12 year old car with peeling paint. I tried to explain to him that this is more like an auto recall, based on a KNOWN defect. Whether 1 year or 12 years went by, they knew their product was defective and they were very aware of the problems my neighbors were having. All I was asking for was a decent discount (a win/win for both them and myself). Jims tone implied I was being ridiculous. Again, I asked to talk to the owner and Jim laughed and snarked, "Youre speaking to the only person youre going to speak to." I was very put off with his bad attitude. All I know is they knew the product was defective and while I understand that 12 years may be out of their warranty period, they could have chosen a path of a happy customer by giving me what I was requesting: a decent discount. Instead I got very poor customer service and was treated like I was being ridiculous

I cant recall the last time I was treated so poorly by a business in a face-to-face interaction. We are doing a major remodel to our home and were told by our contractor to go to Tacoma Fixture/Valley Line Cabinets to talk to someone about a custom vanity, matching built-in storage wall, and tub surround. We walked in and the showroom was empty. My wife and I spent about ten minutes looking at the samples and brochures in the showroom, before I decided to go looking for someone to help us. I found Scott, hiding in his office, mere feet from where wed been standing, but apparently out of earshot. I explained that wed been sent by our contractor to pick out bathroom cabinets. Scott asked who my contractor was. I told him, and his only response was "Ive never heard of them", which is not surprising, since our contractor recently started his own company. So I chuckled and said, "well regardless you can sell me some cabinets or not, I suppose." Scotts only response was, "were not taking on smaller projects." Thats it. No opportunity to explain what exactly was the scope of our project, our budget, or timeline. No offer to suggest an alternative vendor, or even an explanation as to why he didnt want my business. Nothing more than a blank, annoyed stare. He didnt even get up from his desk to say hello or introduce himself. Basically, no customer service skills whatsoever. It amazes me that companies like this stay in business with morons like that working the front lines of customer interaction.

We bought our kitchen cabinets thru Valley Line/Tacoma Fixture in a Shaker style design. The cabinets were delivered with large gaps where the inner and outer panels meet. After complaining, we were told that this is "Industry Standard" and due to "Climate Changes". We visited the Home Show and found numerous examples of Shaker style cabinets that did not exhibit this gap at all--none of them. The company refused to acknowledge the defects. We also had a huge design problem with the cabinets where Valley LIne/Tacoma Fixture did not account for a header in our existing space and so designed for upper cabinets that were too large for the space. The installer ended up cutting out a chunk of the header and installing the cabinet to fit into Valley Lines design. The company blamed the installer and said they would not be working with us to fix the problem. Our subsequent contact with Clint, the Sales Manager were extremely unsatisfactory. We felt the company took no responsibility to help make things right. We are extremely disappointed and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (of which Valley Line claims on their website to be a member, but which they are not). We paid a lot of money for cabinets and service of the poorest quality. The company ultimately refused to work with us to resolve and let the Better Business Bureau complaint remain unresolved.

Working at Valley line and being the QA person. I was told to let gaps in the boxes go. I do not think this place is a good place to work for or get anything from. the CEO Steven Ryan also lets his forklift driver go without a seat belt. adding on rooms to the building with or with out a permit. I also had to walk over pallets for everything I did. Steven will also not turn on the heat in the middle of winter when you can see your breath in the warehouse. The urinal was broken for over two month and was still when I left this place. And if you are a "small job" you will be placed on hold to get the larger job out first. taking care of employees is the last thing on Stevens list of things to do. You will only get a pay raise when they feel like it. The standard work shift is five ten hour days and 6am to noon Saturdays. With Steven pushing for a 7 days work shift. Only be to shot down by his own supervises. They also had two people fired for drug use. and when I started they had six people leave for reasons I did not know.

Amazing workmanship! I had a pencil drawing and some dimensions of what we wanted. Their designer walked me through the process and tons of things I never would have thought of. The result is a very functional and beautiful. Thank you Valley Line Cabinets for making it easy.

Decent showroom, cabinets range from high end to cheap and flimsy. Most are designed for apartment construction.
