The staff is friendly, and my mail service is reliable, no complaints there, BUT, the post office hours leave much to be desired. Most people with jobs are unable to make it into the post office during normal business hours, the location is a little remote, and the residents of Hedgesville are quite often even more remotely located, Saturday hours become ones only option for services requiring assistance from post office staff. The website indicates the following hours for Saturdays: Saturday: 12:01 AM to 11:59PM I am pretty sure that the office is NOT open with staff at the counter at 1 minute after midnight, and it is DEFINITELY not staffed until one minute before midnight. Confusingly enough this is the best way they could come up to inform the public that post office boxes can be accessed 24 hours a day. Apparently, the office feels no need to inform the public of the hours in which post office staff will be available, or when it is possible to purchase any of the goods and/or services offered. It really is somewhat ridiculous that such an important cornerstone of the community does not make adequate and accurate information about their hours of operation and/or services available via their website.

This is one of the worst post offices I have dealt with. We have lived in 5 different states in the past 10 years and this PO rates at the bottom. I never encountered someone that is friendly at the desk. I sell items from two different websites, so I know how to pack and address a package. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to this PO I get berated for the way I package material, yet they still mail it. I avoid going to this post office, and drive 10 minutes further the other direction to Falling Waters, where the staff is friendly and helpful, just to avoid this post office. *UPDATE* I just called to check on package that has been sitting in their post office for over a month. Spoke to the same rude lady I get every time I go to the PO, just as rude on the phone. Had her manager call me back and he was even ruder. I dont know who I can complain to, but avoid going to this location. They are awful. I would give them negative stars if I could.

Horrible postoffice along with horrible mail service. We just recently moved here and had to place up a mail box. Well for everyone that lives in Westvigina in this area knows it has been rainy and snowy. Anyways, we have a small patch of mud in front of our mail box. We received a letter 3 days after it was dated stating we needed to fix the mud or our services would be suspended. We had 9 days to fix the problem well they suspended our mail way before the date we were given and way before the notice. We called this post office and the main guy was rude. He should be fired or written up along with the delivery lady. When we went in to get our mail we showed him the letter to which he got super rude. Be aware.

I am very dissatisfied! I am expecting a package and instead of delivering it the carrier left "A NOTICE" I am disabled and do not drive and I do not know how they expect me to get my package! No one knocked on my door! No message at the door, They must have just stuck notice in mail box with out attempting to delivere! I called post office and was told I have to wait till tomorrow to call posts office and then ask carrier to deliver it to me! Are you serious???? This is not acceptable! I am NOT satisfied with your service! NOT AT ALL!!! the only reason I gave 1 star is that is the only way to post

Getting so tired of having to go to the post office to get my Amazon packages that fit in my mailbox or i get a text saying NONSECURE AREA couldnt deliver...but i look on my security recordings and never a vehicle to be found...so i drive to the post office to find the package never even left the building or a notice left in my mailbox as per the text quoted. Wouldnt even give it a 1 star but it wouldnt let me post if i didnt.

I have been attempting to get a package delivered for 2 days. The 1st day they left a notice without even attempting to deliver, since I am home. The 2nd day they left the redelivery instructions in my mailbox & never delivered it. Online tracking says they can not access my front door (Im guessing from stupidity). Now my husband is going to go in late to work tomorrow so he can go to the post office. This is ridiculous!

I have lived in many States and been served by many post offices in my life. This post office is, by far, the worst, I have ever used. I spend days locating packages that either say they have been delivered or that they could not be delivered. The Postmaster has changed and the new one is not customer service oriented. They NEVER answer the telephone and the hours are very inconvenient.

Post office is nice enough and staff is friendly. Letter carrier for our area however is sub-par, unreliable and careless. It seems I just lost a package because the letter carrier could not be bothered to lock the mailbox after stuffing packages in there. Reading the other complaints about the delivery service, it makes me wonder if we all have the same carrier.

I work from home and almost never leave my house... I constantly receive "Sorry we missed you" slips and despite the fact that I go online and reschedule delivery They never do. Neighbors tell me they dont like to have to drive down driveways. Its a 40 min 30 mile trip there and back. If they hate their job that much they should find another

Is this number legit? No one EVER answers and there isnt an answering system. I went in 3 weeks in a row looking for my mailbox key. I was finally told by someone different than who I talked to and they told me that they dont take care of that there. So Ive been making this long drive for nothing!

The staff is friendly enough but this location has horrible hours. I can not get there to pick up packages before they close. I still do not understand why they will not deliver mail to the house. I am forced to have a P.O. box. At best it is a hassle.
