Good day. Im not sure if the staff members have changed since the dates of the previous reviews, but I have been with them for 1 month as of May 8th 2015, and this is what they have done for me so far: 1) Gave me a well paying temp. position the next day after signing up with them, lasting one week. 2) Had a few options for my next assignment just before the first one was done, and I got placed on a short-term (2 month) temp job the following Monday at the highest pay I have received in my life so far. [[Grunt work, sure. But thats what is needed by companies hiring short or long term temp. positions - someone willing to do the grunt work so they can focus on meeting their deadlines with their other responsibilities.]] 3) Have set me up with companies where the job experience added to my resume in the programs and skills I achieved there, in efforts to build up my resume hopefully leading to being placed in a permanent career with a better wage than I have experience so far. 4) The staff were up front with me in our first interview with what their expectations are from me as I represent their company to other businesses, were honest about the success rate in a) being constantly employed, b) reaching permanent career positions through a temporary contract. As well as being honest with me about what I can expect from them. 5) All staff members are very friendly and welcoming. No judging, and no question is too dumb for them to answer, no request too difficult for them to assist with. Their hours to meet with you are flexible, and follow up with you after placing you with an employer. As with any business, it is not worth relying wholly or placing all responsibility on staff members to always get you what you need in a timely manner, as they have many business clients and individual clients to maintain, so taking initiative to call them, ask questions, provide time frames for when you need to have things set-up in time shows well on your part as they speak to potential employers on your behalf. Show initiative, be courteous, polite, and work together as a team, because believe it or not, as with any business/service they are helping you out and do have the right to refuse assisting you if provoked. You bring your best to the table -- the more you give them to work with -- the better service and aide you receive from them and your employers through them. Thank you for your time.

I followed the websites instructions and called to set up an appointment. I was informed that I could e-mail them my resume. I informed her that there is no e-mail address listed on their site. She thanked me for informing her that it wasnt on their website. Then she asked what kind of work I was looking for. I informed her I was looking for a training position or a hospitality position. She told me that they do not have those kinds of jobs there. Then she said she had another phone call and she had to go. I told her before she had a chance to hang up on me, that they ought to remove the Contract Trainer position from their website if they dont hire for those types of jobs, she then said ok she would remove it and thanked me before rushing me off the phone. ZERO customer service, imagine if they treat their job seekers like this, how do they treat the employers they work with.

I was recommended to try finding work through Hiring and Staff by a friend who had just gone through them as well. They were friendly, attentive, and listened to what I wanted in a position. They got me an interview within a week of starting the search, and Ive been in the position for 7 months. While I am moving on to another part of public sector work, I am happy with the fact that I had a chance to get my foot in the door. While the position I am currently in wasnt exactly what I was expecting, it was still a great job and I ended up loving my coworkers, and even had some additional responsibilities added to my plate once they figured out what I was capable of. Overall, Sonam and Ray have been wonderful and have truly helped me create a name for myself in the public sector. I appreciate everything they have done for me!

Working with Sonam at Hiring & Staff Services was really a pleasure. Hiring & Staff Services interviewed me and found me a full time job within 1 week. Very professional and really made me feel confident walking in to a brand new job. Even once assigned to the job whenever I would email Sonam with a problem or question she would email me back very quickly or at least by the end of the day she would respond even if she didnt have the answer yet which I really appreciated. I always send people their way when they ask me how I got my position!

WHEN I CAME INTO HIRING & STAFF I WAS UNEMPLOYED. I HAD BEEN LET GO FROM MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER DUE TO HARDSHIPS I ENCOUNTERED. THE PEOPLE AT HIRING & STAFF REALLY LISTENED TO ME AND UNDERSTOOD MY SITUATION. THEY WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING AND WORKED WELL WITH ME TO HELP ME NOT ONLY GET ON MY FEET, BUT TO ALSO GAIN MORE JOB KNOWLEDGE WHICH I WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE WITH ME MOVING FORWARD. I have had a great experience with hiring and staff services. They placed me within a week of starting with them, and I love my job. Sonam has been extra helpful and patient, even when I moved and had a little hiccup with my address change. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get into a public sector job, or is new to temping. I am currently working an extended position through Hiring & Staff Services. This is the second position that they have found for me. Both positions have been excellent employment positions. The people at H&S are very friendly and efficient. Their turn around for finding work is very reasonable. I have worked through many employment agencies in the past and this one is by far one of the best. I would recommend them to anyone looking for work.

I worked for Hiring and Staff Services for four months after trying without success to find work through several temp agencies. They were not very present throughout my four months of employment other than paying me on time and once coming to visit me at the office. I was offered a permanent position at the job where I had been working and I took it and stopped working for the temp agency without too much trouble.
