We booked our honeymoon through Lisa Hoppe Travel. Right away I knew we wanted to go to a Sandals resort and Lisa was very knowledgeable in giving us information needed to book the best location. About three months before our trip we were notified that the Sandals Negril location would be under construction and we would have to pick another destination and suggested Sandals Whitehouse. I was interested in looking at other resorts in Negril and Lisa and her team really pushed for us to stay at a Sandals or a Beaches resort even when we specifically asked for information on other resorts. We ended up sticking with Sandals and we picked their Whitehouse location. We were promised that their beach (Im a beach person, I love the ocean) was just as good as Negrils. After reading reviews I realized that that was not going to be the case and I contacted Lisa Hoppe to see if we could switch back to Negril. The communication took a little while so a week before our honeymoon we still had no idea where we were going to be going, that was frustrating, it would have been nice to get more updates on what was happening. Once we were on our trip Sandals did everything perfectly, but some things Lisa Hoppe Travel promised us would happen didnt (like lobster every night, which was one of the reasons they gave us to stay at a Sandals resort, Sandals didnt have lobster at all). Also when we switched back to Negril, Lisa Hoppe Travel said we could keep our room upgrade that we had gotten when we had to switch to Whitehouse, but then told us that Sandals wouldnt let us keep the upgrade. Although, when we got to Sandals we didnt have to say anything and Sandals had upgraded us to a Beach Front Club Level room. Also the swimming area in the ocean wasnt great as promised, it was small, shallow, and there was tons of seaweed, that was disappointing because I just wanted to spend my days on the beach and in the ocean and I made sure they knew that when we had booked the trip, so not having a very good swimming area was a disappointment . Overall I think they need to be more up to date with their information and have a faster response time when it comes to letting people know what’s going on.

I had an opportunity to take a vacation at the last minute and called Lisa Hoppe Travel Consulting for assistance in the planning. It required coordinating airline schedules from two separate locations to meet at our final destination and a special request regarding the type of accommodations I was looking for. It took only a couple of days for Lisa and her staff to pull it all together for me. I asked for a change of airlines to accommodate my frequent flyer preference and it was handled immediately, and not only without complaint, but in a very gracious manner. Everything about our trip was well organized and we had a fantastic time. I am absolutely calling Lisa Hoppe Travel for my next vacation.

HI Lisa and staff, I just wanted to thank you for helping me plan my surprise trip to Jamaica. My wife was shocked and we had a blast. The Royalton White Sands resort was fantastic. It was clean and modern, the staff was exceptional, and the food was superb. It was set on a beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water and had its own private island you could walk out to. We relaxed by the infinite pool with the swim up bar all day. At night we hung out at the open-air martini bar and listened to some great steel drum bands. I cant thank you and your staff enough for helping me plan this trip. You were a pleasure to work with and cant wait to plan our next trip. Thanks again, Mike Warren

I am so glad that Lisa Hoppe Travel helped us book our honeymoon. When we arrived in St. Lucia we were pleasantly surprised to have an amazing ocean view from our balcony at the Halcyon. The description of our room said "hints of the ocean" but we had a full-on view which made our room so romantic and memorable. Everything was set for us when we got there, so we did not have to worry about a thing. We also had the wonderful surprise to get business class on our returning flight home which made the 4 and a half hour flight comfortable and unforgettable. Thank you Lisa Hoppe. If you have Problems with the company they booked your vacation through dont expect assistance when you return from your vacation. Our 3 weeks vacation to Tahiti and the French Polynesian Islands for our 39th wedding Anniversary turned into a vacations from hell. Unlike the previous years vacation to Tahiti and Bora Bora. We are traveling again but did not and will not Book with Lisa Hoppe again. Before you book make sure that they are not using Pleasant Holidays to book your vacation.
