Do you ever feel ungrounded by joy, happiness, and the contentment of being alive on a beautiful day? Are all of those feelings too much to handle? Do they make you feel like you may do or say something foolish and inappropriate? Well, then you need to come back down to earth by going to the Monona Post Office! At the Monona Post Office, you’ll get a reality check when you walk through the door and are hit with an overwhelmingly palpable, thick wave of depression and self-loathing. You’ll immediately come to face-to-face with the profound meaninglessness of life as the minutes tick slowly away, and you feel your very soul sucked away from you by the black hole of bitterness standing in front of you - the teller, who hates all life, (most of all yours, right now), and is waiting only to die. As you leave, you’ll realize that there is nothing good or right in the world, and that you were a fool for ever loving or caring about anything. But, now you know the truth - life is a bleak, pointless affair, slowly winding down into the blackness of nothingness - and you have the customer service at the Monona Post Office to thank for that. Now, go forth into that gray twilight, to never smile, laugh, or doing anything foolish, ever again.

This post office sucks!! Ive had three awful experiences here. After the first time with them telling me that they dont print out tracking receipts, I tried again. The second occurrence was when I took packages in (first class), and they told me the postage was wrong... Okay!! They didnt once offer to fix it. I decided to go to a different post office and they fixed it right away. They had no problem in fixing it, but not the post office in Monona. Last incident involved dropping off two packages at the Dropbox.... They ended up back in my mailbox a week later. Took them to my post office, I was told there was no problem with them and they sent them out... UGH!!! Never again!!

I can truly understand why the Post Office is closing. When you call or go into the post office. There is no productive or positive Customer Service atmosphere. Its Rushed and the employees act if though the customers are bothering them. I just called at 9:10 am cst Monona Post office (WI) and receive the worst service ever the lady was very rude and just assumed I knew information that I didnt as if she was saying why are you calling. She needs training, refresher something or needs to retire.

I have had mail stolen out of the boxes at the Post Office and someone tried to cash the enclosed checks. When reported, nothing was done by USPS. I also have had mail and packages delivered to the wrong address and had a terrible time trying to track the package. Sometimes No one answers the phone there either.

Have never had a good experience here--workers are slow at their job and rude to customers and constantly forget to scan prepaid labels, making it impossible for me to track packages. They also NEVER pick up the phone

Small post office but has pretty good hours. It has PO boxes and two counters for sending things and getting stamps, etc. Friendly staff. Can be busy depending on the time.

I have had trouble twice now with mail not getting to where it is sent. Not sure if they do not pick up the boxes as marked or what. They dont anser there phone either.
