Ordered 2nd day shipping. Weather delayed the initial delivery date. Okay. The third day I left work early to make sure I would be there to receive the package. I saw the delivery man drop off mail at 3:00. Then I tracked the package to see if it would come later. It said there was a "notice left, no authorized recipient." They didnt ring the bell, or leave a notice. This update was posted shortly after they closed, so I couldnt pick up the time-sensitive package that I paid an exorbitant amount of money to have delivered to me the day before. I also didnt know what location had the package, as they didnt leave a damn notice, sorry, were-closed-why-dont-you-check-the-notice-guy. Use UPS or FedEx. Especially if you have time-sensitive goods that you actually want delivered

I can no longer trust this location to handle my outgoing shipments appropriately. On several occasions I have dropped off priority mail packages at this location, and they have sat at this location for an extra day (i.e., they werent sent out with the 5PM pick-up). Also, the packages wont be scanned by the employees at this location, so the earliest tracking scan will come from the Oak Creek Distribution Center. As a Top Rated Ebay seller, I need to have my packages scanned for tracking purposes, and sent out on time. This USPS location is untrustworthy and incompetent and needs an audit from a regional manager to see what can be improved.

These people are rude and argumentative- when I say my carrier refuses to leave packages, and has recently even stopped leaving notification and I have to track down all my own packages using online tracking numbers, its not an invitation to call me a liar and roll your eyes at me. It is not an invitation to tell me how you personally know the carrier and that would never happen- I want you to fix it, NOT make me feel like an idiot. Also, no matter how long you stay on the line waiting for an answer, no one will ever pick up their phone.

Awful service... surly and perfunctory. It took them forever to deliver our food, and then it turns out that everything tasted like stamps. Yuck. Also literally no seating area, so youve got to stand at the counter, which is not great with my back and felt very cramped. Seriously, there was more room in the P.O boxes than at that counter! This is the last time I try to eat at the US Post Office.

Im glad to see Im not the only one with a problem with these peoples customer service relations. I can honestly say every mailman usually has a great attitude, but once you go to the post office, these people who work for usps, are complete assholes. And will do anything to hurry up & disregard what brought you there. You guys need to get it together.

Customer service is absolute garbage. Buzzed three times and heard people in the back laughing. Even knocked on the side door by the counter where we also heard people and got nothing. Had to leave my package at the counter with a note to call me to confirm it was scanned and shipped. Lets see if they can even do that much.

Called in to have a package held for pickup only to find out that was a service they didnt offer. The person on the phone was nice enough to get my tracking information and personally found my package and held it for me to go pick up. Now thats personal service (with a smile? hard to tell over the phone).

I guess the guy was sort of nice, but they really cant do ANYTHING. They couldnt even tell me who sent me a mysterious package. I didnt want to have it redelivered or go through the work of picking it up without knowing who was sending it. BUT the guy was fairly nice about it, if a little bit awkward.

They Always pull through, i use their office a lot.. .. . . can even call them and have them hold your mail if your going out of city. . . . dont see your guys problem you expect to much if it takes awhile as soon as a package is received its send out for delivery the next day if not within two hours

Be forewarned that this location does not sell stamps or any other post office supplies. You can drop off already-stamped mail or packages here, and you may be directed to pick up a package here, but the general public may not purchase anything or do any other post office transactions here.

USPS sucks!!! I dont mean only this one, I mean almost every USPS office in Madison downtown is a piece of crap. Their staffs are rude. No matter what you need them to do, their attitude seem that you own them money. Extremely unhelpful. Use UPS or FedEx if you have extra few bucks !!

We never know if we will be getting our mail. Its very frustrating. Ive called twice to address the situation and they keep telling us it will be resolved. For a place of business, we really should be able to rely on regular service.

You cannot buy postage, whether you want stamps or to just mail something. What is the purpose of this post office? Why does it exist? Why? I dont want to go to other locations to mail something. I want to use my local post office.

This is just a spot for mail carriers to pick up and drop off mail, and residents can pick up packages. This is NOT a location to buy stamps or mail packages or get a passport. Go to the MLK st. location for that.

Id give USPS zero stars if possible. Packages are never delivered on/by expected dates. Go with UPS/FedEX if you care to have timely delivery.
