The person who said this post office should be investigated is 100% correct! Ive never seen so many issues at a post office before, starting at the so-called manager level and down. Since moving here, Ive dealt with 4 years of packages being stolen, opened and delivered empty with the contents stolen, mis-delivered to other people, Ive received other peoples packages, and they will scan packages as "delivered" and never drop them off (with me literally sitting there watching them). I live in an apartment so all of our Mail goes in locked mail boxes where only the USPS and myself have access to the key, so neighbors arent stealing this stuff. The employees are. Ive had it!!! Ive reported them countless times and nothing happens. They just let go of the one guy who didnt steal my stuff, and suddenly all of my packages are missing again. Its happened 3 times this week alone. They should all be fired and charged with a federal crime.

I have lived in multiple states and multiple cities, and I have to say this is by far the poorest mail service i have experienced. The postal service in Collierville is constantly delivering my mail elsewhere and or not delivering it at all. I renewed my license online and it never came to my mailbox. I had to drive 45 minutes and wait 3 hours at the DMV to get another license. The woman in the DMV said that she constantly has people in from collierville and piperton having to do the same thing on account of the USPS saying the address is "Non-deliverable"... 2 days later a package didnt arrive. I went up to the post office and the "manager" called the carrier who said he had just hand delivered it. Actually it was not delivered... it came 2 days later and had been opened... My son had presents taken out of a birthday box sent to him as well... worst post office EVER!!!

Only lived in Collierville for a month, and I have had three pieces of mail go missing, two of which had confidential information, all in larger envelopes. They were able to find one of them from the tracking number (it cost almost $10 to send it with a tracking number; it also had claimed to have been delivered online.) after I had to go to the post office and report it missing. They found it that evening. The other with confidential information was not sent with a tracking number (since its expensive and didnt even make it in my mailbox last time), and they have yet to find it, telling me "theres nothing we can do without a tracking number." After reading these other reviews, it really is shocking that this place has not been investigated.

Worst place, worst employees, and government should close this place once for ever or fire all those employees. There is a dude name James works there who literally point fingers towards innocent people in line to call for service. Not only that this dude does behaves offensive, but the manager over that let it go and cover him up since they both belongs to the same culture. Not only this dude deserve to get fired but he should be deported back to Africa where he belongs. I cant say for sure but I think he was on some sort of drug while on duty. Someone should seriously investigate this place and employees.

James Brown is the rudest clerk ever!!! I was in the collierville post office on center street and the dispenser did not dispense my stamps but charged me. I went in to ask what should I do and he spoke to me as if I would lie over $4.70. I ended up having to buy a stamp from another clerk to mail the letter that I was buying stamps to mail. Not professional at all. He needs to retire. He was so rude that I am going further with this complaint.

Usually service is good, however when trying to contact by phone, the phone is busy. I have an issue with home delivery and Id like to express my concern, but apparently I must write a letter and send it through the Mail as the phone doesnt work or is busy. Have been trying over 40 minutes at this time. 1/21/15

The Collierville Post Office is completely inept. Packages are consistently late or even missing. The staff are not at all helpful and honestly dont seem to care in any way about their jobs. They cant even figure out their phone system, much less how to deliver mail.

Blocked three hours off to renew my passport and I was in and out in 20 minutes. The two ladies working were very funny and helpful. Very rare to have such a positive experience with any government agency.
