Terrible customer service. I moved to Germantown and was told that everyone living in a townhouse or condo with a locking mailbox had to get a new lock installed by the post office (for $35). Fine. After about 2 weeks, I received a voicemail that my key was ready to pick up. Went to the post office and nobody knew anything about a key or where it might be. They took my phone number and said someone would call me. Never happened. A week later, I went by again (to pick up my accumulated mail and see if the key could be found). The person who would "know" about a key was at lunch. My phone number was taken and I was told I would get a call. Never happened. Going by again today (this has been going on for over a month) to demand that a new key is made and maybe they try keeping the keys in one particular spot. They never answer the phone and no one there seems to have a clue about how to do anything but sell stamps, quite honestly.

Terrible service. People at the service counters are super slow. There are 5 counters but usually only one or two open and the line is all the way out the door. Then the workers have to move to other places too which slows things down. Workers have attitudes too. I tried using general delivery at this post office, and the workers were rude and snapped at me and said I didnt need to use it and said they wouldnt take my mail there anymore. I have personal reasons to use it sometimes and they had nasty attitudes about it. Even though I live in Germantown, I guess I will continue to drive all the way downtown to the main post office on Third where I can use general delivery without a problem and the lines are not usually long and I can get in and out much quicker. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to the Germantown post office, even though it is closest to me.

This may quite possibly be the worst run post office in the country. I agree with another reviewer that this place doesnt even deserve 1 star. These are the most incompetent, uncaring customer service reps that I have ever seen. I have not been receiving mail at a new building that I purchased and I went to the post office to inquire why. No one seemed to be able to provide an answer. When one incompetent person could not answer my question, she offered to let me speak to a supervisor. After a 20 minute wait and after the lazy clerk not getting off of her obese rear-end, I was finally told that the supervisor asked me to leave a name and number. I walked out in disgust still with no mail. These people should all lose their jobs, especially the postmaster who allows this place to be a disgrace. I am surprised that they even have a 2 star average rating.

The staff at Germantown Post Office are the most miserable post office workers I have ever met. I never go in there anymore because of their bad attitudes. Every time my wife or I go in to get a letter or package mailed they look at you and treat you like youre a second class citizen. They never smile. They act like youre a burden, and they have the worst customer service attitude I have EVER seen. Huffing, rolling eyes - that kind of attitude. Theres a middle-eastern looking guy who never cracks a smile and a lady of Asian descent who is extremely condescending. No wonder USPS is going out of business with people like this working for them. Anyone who goes to this USPS location knows what I am talking about, I implore you to call and complain otherwise nothing will get done.

These people are AWFUL. I buy tarantulas for my collection from overseas and EVERY package I have ordered has messed up thanks to these people! My most recent order I was told the tracking number sounded fake because some lady was to lazy to type in the actual number. When I checked the status of the package on their website, it said it should have been delivered today! Id give this place 0 stars if I could! Theyre rude, incompetent, and quite frankly should be taught how to respect someone! They told me my service dog wasnt allowed inside either, which infuriates me! Hes a service dog for a reason and I need him. I honestly believe he was kicked out because of his breed! I wouldnt go to them if I didnt have too!

We moved to Germantown about 11 months ago and have had so many problems with deliveries and receiving incorrect mail. 55 pieces of mail delivered the month of December. We have auto delivery of some supplies every month and rarely receive the packages. I have actually witnessed from the front door the mail carrier put a "sorry we missed you note" in our mail box. I scheduled a re delivery and it never came. The company reshipped the product and it never made it! I never had this problem (same delivery) when we live inside the city. Who is in charge over there?!

Horrible Customer service if I could give them 0 stars I would. When after they lost an important package (2-3 day service ) 3 Days later its still in downtown Memphis and apparently they are not responsible for providing any delivery information or estimated delivery date. I wanted to call and make a report so I asked for the supervisors name and she refused and slammed the door in my face (Called back later and got it any way lol Monica Anthony). USPS has a lot of BS to work out and a report will be filed regardless and my congressman will be contacted.

This store lost my international package which was included my original medical school graduate documents. I called them several times. However, they just told me "we dont know! We are sorry about your lost" that was all! They do not take any responsibility; and after a year, it made tones of problems for me. I called the central office of usps. The agent was extremely rude and told sorry then hang up the phone immediately. The package was sent with the most expensive international usps service. However, The tracking number has been showing nothing!

Its the week before the holidays (Saturday, Dec 17th at about 1pm) and I stopped in today to mail a package and buy stamps. There were 4 workers, so the line moved very quickly and I reached the counter within 10 minutes. The person who attended me was kind enough, so Im not sure what the person who commented earlier is refering to. My clerk looked up a zip code for me for a letter as well as explained all of the different price options for mailing my package to Spain. I will be returning to this post office.

I can never reach them by phone, this is the second package that shows it had been delivered to my home and I cant find it anywhere. The company I ordered through has tracked it as well and it shows delivered to my front door at just after 10am. So not only can I get the Germantown post office to tell me anything until I can find out more from them I cant get a refund of the money for the purchase I made for something I couldnt get in store. Sometimes this office is horrible!!!!!!!

The previous two reviews must be written by Willie himself. This guy is so rude, no body even likes him. Make an eye contact with him next time you stand in line, you will feel his attitude. And it is bone chilling if you can get what he actually implies when he pretends talking to some regular customers. I lived in many different cities before, including NYC and LA. So far, this post office is one of the worst I have seen. They just let you wait, forever!
