This is a review for the post office at 1897 Gause Blvd W. I want to make sure it is seen and HEARD. AWFUL. The post office is NOT what it used to be. I have had a package delivered to the wrong address TWICE. The first time, the people at the wrong address brought the package to the post office, AFTER opening it by the way, which is weird; anyway, the post office called me since my phone number was on the outside of the package. It was very inconvenient but at least I was able to get my package. The second time it was delivered to the wrong address and it took days to actually locate, the people at the wrong address brought my package to the post office, and instead of the post office calling me or trying to deliver my package to the right address, they returned it to sender. I never even got to see my package! LUCKILY it was not something I needed by a certain date. Otherwise I would have been even more furious than I already was. Oh and on that same day that my second package was supposed to be delivered to me, we found another package in the STREET, for someone at a completely different address. I have already called and complained and after being told I would be called back, I decided to go up there instead and complain in person, which obviously was a complete waste of time. What brought me to write a review today, since it is Sunday and I cannot call and waste more of my time to complain, is that my MARRIAGE LICENSE was delivered to the wrong address yesterday. An important document, and it never made it to my mailbox. At least it was delivered next door. and to good people who made sure it got returned to us. I just cannot understand how a post office can take the importance of mail so lightly. it is SCARY. We actually have a locking mailbox so that no one can reach in and steal our mail, but I guess it was a complete waste of money since our mail never even seems to make it to us at all! I will call and complain til I am blue in the face, getting numbers to people in higher authority and complaining to them, I am not going to sit back and wait for something of higher value or something that jeopardizes our personal information or security to end up in the wrong hands.

This office deserves some kudos. By no mistake of their own, the package I was expecting was undeliverable due to an absence of the street name on the label. I stopped by Saturday hoping to pick up my package, but it was no longer in their hands. Gordon took down my address in case it was bumped back this way. He gave me a call, I stopped by, and now I have my package. Good work that exceeded my expectations.
