Ive used this Post Office off and on for years. If its important that I know the times they are open and closed and I have forgotten in the past to write it down, I call them. Ive found that much of the info. I find online is in correct and so Ive learned to just call if I need correct info. Whoever is responsible for keeping changes updated dont do a very good job sometimes on most web sites. Its unfortunate but true. I have always found the employees at this Post Office to be courteous and helpful and I would not want to judge any of them since I dont know if they are having a rough day like we all can have or if its their first day on the job. In any case, it can be pleasant or rough when dealing with the public who vary from kind and understanding, to rude, judgmental, critical and impatient and you can see a variation of all of them when your standing in a long line in which the employee has no control over. Ive been the impatient and rude one many times in the past and when I saw how ugly it was by watching others behave the same way or worse, I chose to be kind and understanding and I leave there with peace of mind knowing that that the employee that helped me did the best they could and got the job done! Some people just like to vent and take their frustrations out on others which doesnt accomplish a thing. Employee or client...

I dont know why the Maryville and Glen Carbon postal work clerks are such know-it-all incompetents. Its usually the older clerks that are so cranky and rude. The worst part of it is that they usually dont know what theyre talking about. I spend hundreds of dollars per day in postage so I take the time to drive to the Edwardsville post office to avoid having to deal with these two offices.

Ulysses and the bunch are a complete waste of tax payers money. Talk about draining the swamp, this office should be the first to shut down. Imagine mailing very important docs via 2 day priority shipping and after 16 days it still isnt delivered and they cant even find it. Everybody in that office need be fired and placed on unemployment cos they are doing more harm than good.

Dour faced clerks, cranky and they caused financial harm to my business by improperly stating their hours on the web site. Ive been trying to avoid doing all of my mailing from home... but they have forced me to start. And for that I thank you. You obsolescence is well-deserved and I will personally breath a sigh of relief when a robot takes your job.
