On our last visit I was charged a late fee for two movies that were turned in between 11pm-12am on the day they were due. The cashier said that since the store closes at 11 they are due by that time. I explained to her that this was poorly communicated to their customers and that "the end of the day" by any normal persons standards would be 11:59pm not 11pm. She failed to wave the late fee or even apologize. Family Video has enough trouble competing with Netflix and Redbox as it is, they are really shooting themselves in the foot by providing poor customer service and charging a one time late fee that would pay for a whole month of Netflix.
