I am a baker by birth so it is difficult for me to find a bakery that I find above average. Cocos is such a bakery. They have a wide variety of items, some clever, some old fashion. Their breads our hearty, earthy, and fresh. The have what I know as Lavish but I do believe they call it a different name, which is most known as a cracker type of bread, and it was near perfection. I order this to take home each and every time as I adore it in soups of the chicken and vegetable variety. in house cooking is that of a hippie earthy feel with homemade granola, thick and heavy oats, and plenty of egg sandwiches to select. We stop each time we are near this delightfully earthy little shop. A little pricey but worth the look.

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend in Washburn, WI; and one of the highlights, was our mornings at COCO. The coffee is fabulous, the staff exceptional and the food out of this world. We loved the COCO story, the food and the experience. (Wish Id taken a picture of the front and back of the menu!) Told my husband, Id spend a week in Washburn just to sample Cocos many wonderful sounding lunch items also. We stocked up on bakery before leaving Washburn and look forward to our next visit. Ive already recommended COCO to everyone weve talked to and cant believe that anyone would be disappointed with their stop there.

Who would have thought in the small town of Washburn, WI youd be able to eat falafel, bahn mi, or curry...and all in one place? Coco offers all of this and much, much more. Id tried their salads -- the Asian sesame noodles are the best! -- at the Chequamegon Co-op, but it was a real treat stopping into Coco for lunch and trying the delicious falafel sandwich. It was delicious! The variety they offer -- with meals, with baked goods, with deli items -- is awesome. The atmosphere isnt the greatest, but the food and the friendly staff definitely make up for that. I highly recommend Coco if youre in the bay area.

Cocos is an amazing eatery and bakery. They use local and organic ingredients when ever they can and have lots of vegan and vegetarian options. They have Big Water Coffee Roasters coffee which is amazing! Come for breakfast or lunch but leave with some bakery. The breads are amazing and I cant begin to sing the praises of their cookies and other sweets loud enough. I plan for a drive the 1 plus hour drive up to Lake Superior/Bayfield area every month or so, at least partially for a stop at Cocos

Best soups in the area. This a great bakery and an even better cafe with a wide variety of eclectic sandwiches and soups that cant be beat. There can sometimes be a bit of a line, but its worth the wait. They also have a huge variety of desserts and sweets. While they all look amazing, they arent always as satisfying as they look. Dont get me wrong, they are good, but if they tasted like they present... I might be quite a bit fatter.

A great breakfast and lunch spot, but very limited on street and local parking. Wonderful service and a hand made bakery serving specialty bread, pastries and desserts. The food is locally sourced and the breakfast entrees are creative and good. Soups and sandwiches for lunch are the best around and always fresh daily. Coffee is hot and tastier than your usual northern Wisconsin fare, plus all locally roasted.

It would be a shame to drive past Coco and not go in! I always leave with at least three or four things. If you want to eat the best brownie of your life, go to Coco. I also highly recommend their chocolate flourless torte, key lime pie, bread pudding, and chocolate babkas. Can you tell I love their food?

Wonderful bakery in the north woods. A must if you are close by. My wife and I made a point to stop twice while on vacation. We cant wait to go back. Wish they had bakeries this good in the southeastern part of the state. Keep up the good work. But I do suggest offering other coffee brewing options

Cocos is a must stop in Washburn Wisconsin. All of the food - from the bakery to the lunches and soups - is a real treat. You will never be disappointed, and your tastebuds will thank you for it!!! Their Valrhona chocolate flourless cake is the best chocolate dessert I have ever had, bar none.

Excellent food even for a limited menu, great atmosphere, tasty deserts, amazing coffee and friendly service. The only downsides are that there is usually a line and the limited and time restricted menu.

Different breakfast options instead of the traditional cafes. Food was good, fresh ingredients, nice coffee selection. Would be nice if they had water out to help ourselves.

Hands down my favorite ace to eat in Washburn. Homemade everything. Nearly impossible to choose from the menu because overthink sounds so great. Excellent bahn mi.
