Buying a first home when you know nothing of the logistics behind it all isnt easy, especially on a tight, tiny budget. We originally got set up with Emmer because they were listing the first property we saw. Months went by and it seemed like we went to a hundred homes, but nothing was right for us. The original realtor we worked with had to transfer us to someone else in the agency and thats when we met Hanna Overman. This woman is a miracle worker. We went through hell after we found the perfect house trying to close and she did so much more than anyone else would have. She was knowledgeable about the property, was constantly having to make calls and jump through hoops to get things going, and she even offered to come help us do some of the work that needed to be done to pass the appraisal when the owner refused to. It was a hard road but Hanna never once made us feel like we were a burden. Im sure it would have been easier to let us go elsewhere so she could focus on someone with a bigger budget (and therefore more commission, if thats how it works), but she made us feel important and worthy. We have lived in our house now for almost 4 months and words cannot describe how grateful we are to Hanna and Emmer Realty for all they went through with us!
