Love going to this gym! For the price of $10.47 a month I cant complain. However, the reason I didnt rate it a 5 star is due to inconsistencies. I work 12 hour night shifts, so I go to PF right after work I carried a small bag b/c one, I kept forgetting to bring a lock. Two, I only had my scrubs in it from changing. Three, I like I can put iPad in it when Im not using it. Well about my 5th week, a staff person came up and was very polite but reinstated the policy...JUST because someone complained. I dont have a problem with this, I have a problem when a facility, any facility has rules they should be consistent across the board. Ive even spoken to the staff there at PF a couple of times regarding this and it seems the same issues continue to happen! Its annoying! For instance, the no jeans policy. Ive been a member for eight weeks now and honestly Ive seen two men wearing jeans 6 of my 8 weeks coming! Theres a guy there that anytime hes talking with other members he tells them hes a personal trainer and can help them, thought not allowed to promote your own training. See young girls in the far corner typing & texting on their phones all the time (seen them there 4xs) not utilizing the equipment, go to a cyber cafe if you wanna text and view videos and talk; not a gym. I took care of my problem, I bought a lock and put my belongings away. What is PF going to do about these other issues? Regards~

I enjoy working out here very much but today I came in and a woman was walking around the club with a dog on a leash and it was not a service animal. I asked the manager on duty if animals were allowed in the club and he said yes if they are service animals and I pointed out the woman walking on a treadmill with her dog on a leash which was a very dangerous situation the poor animal could have been injured. He said that he would take care of it and would ask her to leave the club I went into the tanning room and came out and the same woman was still in the club with the animal sitting on the chairs in the front on her computer my concerns is when I go to a health club I wanted to be clean and free of dirt germs and allergens if Planet Fitness is going to allow animals they need to post this that. Then you know its a place thats free to bring your pets if not then the manager on duty needs to take care of the situation and remove the animal from the club. Again I am not talking about service animals because of course they are welcome anywhere. I would really like to have some clarification on their pet policy.

I love Planet Fitness! This location is close for me as I work out 4x a week. I have many friends there at the Apache Junction PF and have been a member for 3 years now! Very clean bathrooms/locker room and equipment. I met Daryl the new trainer today. What a nice guy! Very helpful with proper weight/exercise form and respectful. I really miss Oden and Jordan that used to work there. Illiana, Kevin, and Eddie are my favorites! Super nice and genuine attitude! I only had one complaint months back, when a customer is taking up time at the front desk, have a better way to check in the members who are waiting in line...Our time is valuable too! Members checking in shouldnt have to wait 5 or more minutes because of only one person at the front desk! I DO recommend this gym! I love the price and atmosphere....although the music in the locker room can be way too loud and annoying at times.

The facility itself is fine. Its the employees, management included, and their terrible policies that are only enforced when management is present. You cant have a gym bag because its a hazard yet one of their employees walks around cursing and literally rough housing with their friends while in uniform. You cant grunt or youll set off this obnoxious alarm, but youre more than welcome to slam weights extremely loud at night when management isnt present because the employees dont uphold the policy. If a business sets rules and policies then so be it. But at least have your team members uphold those policies. It makes management look weak. You also cant have a gallon of water because apparently its so stereotypical to be healthy. So if you like mixing aminos in a gallon, this gym is not for you!

Canceled my membership because they dont have bench press or a squat rack. They say they charge on the 17th of every month so I canceled on the 15th. On the 20th I was charged my monthly bill so I called to ask for a refund. They told me I was still charged because it wasnt before the 10th. So I told them I was just going to use the gym for the next month. However because I had already canceled my membership, I wasnt alowed in the gym either. So I was made to pay for an extra month of the membership, but not use it because of my member cancellation. After arguing with the person I called she finally told me she would write it in the notes of my account that I would be allowed to come for the next month. BIG PAIN!

Horrible Gym! I brought a gym bag in and these guys told me I couldnt have it because it was a tripping hazard, but yet there are women with purses working out. I come here as my buddies guest and they recognize me but wont allow me to use the bathroom until my buddy gets here. If this place wanted me to get a membership they failed miserably. They have no real weights here and if you breathe too hard while lifting weights they freak out. Thanks for being flexible. You definitely will never gain me as a customer. Ill pay an extra 10 bucks a month to go to LA Fitness rather than this snowflake gym...and guess what, Im takin my buddy with me! So I guess you lost a member also!

I have been working out at this gym for years, since day one Ive felt at home. The facility is extremely clean, spacious, and inviting. Not only is there tons of equipment to ensure an amazing workout, there is also a certified personal trainer free with every membership. Ive worked out with Daryl several times and he is a fountain of knowledge and doesnt make you feel embarrassed for being a beginner. In addition, the staff members are always full of energy and quick to welcome you and treat you like a friend, not a customer. The management is attentive, professional, and friendly. Couldnt ask for a better workout environment! 10 outta 10 would recommend!

Facility is clean but the employees suck. Always giving someone crap about something, cant have gym bags, anything on the floor, outside equipment-- everything is a liability to them. When you accidentally set off the alarm they come and talk to you as if you didnt hear the siren blaring throughout the gym. Judgement free zone yet they judge everyone who is actually trying to get a good workout in. Wanted to charge me $40 dollars for a day pass to bring my sister with me who was deploying in a few days and didnt need a membership. Also, only gym Ive been to with no scales? I wish there was any other reasonably priced gym nearby.
