We were clients at Wilkins for over a year and a half. We got along well with the caretakers, the front desk, and always paid on time. We had an incredibly negative experience with the Wilkins Administrative staff (Barbara and Sharon). Last month we got a call on a Friday from Sharon Wilkins stating that our 18 month old daughter got an “ouch report” and that she was being dropped from the program that day. Just two weeks prior to this incident, we moved our child from full time to part time and got the following statement from Barbara in an email. The email stated, "it has been difficult for us with our smaller rooms accommodating the part-time schedules. We lose money on the "off" days. As a small business, we have to do what makes sense". We were not happy about this profit themed email as parents who experience a lot of financial strain paying for daycare. This was a very transparent financial move. We had not been told in 4 months of any serious behavioral issues that Sharon was claiming our daughter was exhibiting. Four months prior she had scratched a child when she was 14 months old, but this is normal toddler behavior. If Sharon really did drop our daughter with no warning or written notice she violated her own policy and left us in a horrible position. The policy reads “if continuous discipline problems do arise, parents, teachers, and the director will work together on a positive program for the ultimate benefit of the child.” We were not give this luxury, we were caught totally off guard. There was no notification to us of any continuous behavioral problems. It is the Directors responsibility to notify parents of issues and this was not done; a huge lack of communication. Ask yourself would you want to be treated this way? This put me on thin ice with my work, as I suddenly had to take a week off to find a new daycare. This must be the Wilkins Way.

I started taking my first son here for the daycare, when they opened their Cooper and Warner location. I had searched all over Chandler and Gilbert for a great daycare that I could trust, and who would love my child they way I do. It was an extremely tough search. We toured Once upon a time, Goddard school, little Einsteins, Sunrise, the list goes on and on. For me, the minute I walked through the door it felt like "home." Everyone there has learned our familys individual names, and better yet, loves my children! I have since enrolled my youngest son as well. The love my two boys and you can tell. It is not an act. When I have to have my in-laws, or my own mother pick them up while I am at work, they always comment on what a wonderful place Wilkins is. My mother says to me, "they actually hug your child and tell him how much they love him." It is a completely wonderful experience there. It is like being a part of another family. Another wonderful thing they do is school festivals. Every fall and spring, they have different festivals. It is a great way to see all the staff and also meet your childrens friends parents. I also really love the fact that, while my oldest is in daycare, they do pre-school class with him 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. It is all in the same location! I cant say enough great things about Wilkins. They are truly a blessing! I hope this helps you or your family if you are looking for a wonderful place to take your children to.

My four year old daughter goes to Wilkins and I couldnt ask for a better experience or environment for her. Sharon Wilkins really went above and beyond when she created this little slice of heaven for our young ones. The staff at Wilkins are always so wonderful, helpful, loving, and they really care about every child that steps foot in the building. Each and every one of them. Stefani and Channell, you guys are awesome, we love seeing your faces every morning! Every single person that works at Wilkins always takes the time to make sure my daughter feels special and loved, regardless if they are her teacher or not. I feel so comfortable and safe leaving my child at Wilkins every day because I know they will take such wonderful care of her. I would highly recommend this school to anyone and everyone looking for child care and/or preschool education for their small children. All you need to do is take one tour and spend 10 minutes with the staff to know how special it is. Trust me, you will not find a better school! Love it, love it, love it. I wish I could give it 10 stars. Sharon Wilkins you are an angel.

My daughter LOVES coming to The Wilkins Learning Center for her PreK class. Her teacher Mrs. Beaman is very experienced and is so aware of my daughters learning level. She creates activities that challenge my daughter without overwhelming her. My daughter had attended a high priced school in the area, and she was getting bored with the mundane curriculum which fell very short of what was promised. Mrs. Beaman and WLC have been wonderful and she has moved leaps and bounds ahead of where she was! Everyone is so nice and friendly when you enter the school. This helped my daughter, who can be shy at first, to really feel comfortable when attending a new school. Thank you WLC for being so amazing!

I cannot tell you how much we love Wilkins Learning Center! We came from another preschool that we liked, but needed a change. We walked in for our tour and our daughter just fell in love. She was asking when she could come back. The staff and teachers are so caring. Our teacher Mrs. Ratliff is awesome, the children love her!!! Love the small classes so they get more one on one time with the teacher when doing lessons. Great activies that the school puts on for the families so we can see how our kids are doing. The education she is receiving is getting her ready for kindergarten. I would highly recommond this school to anyone looking for a great preschool for their little ones.

We absolutely love the Wilkins Learning Center! As an early childhood educator myself, I know a good program when I see it. I love that WLC focuses on developing the whole child. They have helped my preschooler learn how to have confidence in himself, how to have positive interactions with peers, and how to be kind and caring. And their staff are so loving and encouraging! As soon as you walk in, you can feel that WLC is a unique and special place. Our family has had such a positive experience here!

This is a wonderful place to have your child begin the love of learning. My son has attended Wilkins Learning Center for two years and weve all enjoyed our experience there. They teach in a loving atmosphere. The children do learn more then their #s and ABCs, it is a well rounded learning experience. There is also a wonderful sense of community amoung parents/children/school. Looking forward to having my younger daughter attend next year.

As you can imagine, I was extremely nervous about finding a daycare that would love my son and care for him in a way that made me feel less guilty about working. After visiting nearly 20 centers, Wilkins Learning Center was the clear choice. Hes been attending for nearly 2 months and it has been a joy and relief to know that he is being cared for so well! We cant wait to have him grow up and experience all that Wilkins has to offer!
