I purchased the 3 hour Groupon with my sister. I called ahead and asked how everything worked. The person on the phone put me on hold while she transferred me to a "massage specialist. She came back on the phone and told me they were all busy and told me that the groupon included whatever services I wanted for 3 hours. I only received a spray tan and and a 30 minute massage. The massage chair was not working properly. The tan and "massage" lasted 35 minutes. I was not offered any other services for my 3 hour groupon. When I demanded a refund for the facial serum they sold me (for $14 on top of the $50.00 Groupon) for the facial I never received, they told me there was no physical way to do a refund after consulting their manager on the phone. I asked them if I could get a credit toward merchandise, and they said no. I clarified that I could not get a refund, cash or credit, and couldn’t get merchandise with the $14 from the previous transaction. At this point, I told them that the experience, was a crock of crap. I left, and told them they could keep their facial serum. Now I am out $64 dollars, $128 between my sister and I, and have not gotten a darn thing. I will not be returning to Planet Beach and I will advise all of my friends and family to avoid this place at all costs. Thank you very much for nothing!

I go everyday and I have to say that this place is great! The people that work here are amazing! Not pushy when suggesting products, very informative and just plain friendly! I am a massage therapist in medical school. It amazes me how knowledgeable the staff is about how beneficial the treatments are. They know their stuff! When I go, I use the sauna, hydration station, red light and various massage. The sauna and hydration leave my skin smooth, firm and hydrated, and the red light is gradually erasing my scars, skin spots and strech marks. I go 6-7 days a week, and I have seen a drastic change in my skin tone, complexion, and weight. I know others reviews have complained about the loud music, but this is NOT the staffs fault. When tanning, you have the option of having music playing, and the customer turns the music up loud. The staff has no control of this, but thats why there is a radio in every room. Just put your headphones on and problem solved! I personally watch the staff clean the rooms, and have NEVER had a dirty room or foul odor in any room. The manager is ALWAYS there when I go. My best friend switched her membership to my name, and the manager, Steph, was very accomodating. No problems here...If you wanna speak to me in person, catch me at Planet Beach every morning!

I used to be a member here at this Planet Beach. Their staff started off to be really nice, after awhile there was drama with the staff, the consultants up front were talking about how they partied and got drunk the night before. I felt like I literally was thrown into every service. I was going to tan in what they call their "platinum" tanning bed and I hadnt been tanning in a long time and the girl put me in for 10 minutes I BURNED LIKE YOU WOULD NEVER BELIEVE. Obviously they dont know what they were doing. I also used the hydration station which smelled like stinky feet and nobody told me about the heating things underneath so of course I burnt my knee! There were no signs warning me about this or anything! This could have been a huge law suit. I canceled my membership after fighting with one of the managers who was completely rude and she said I had to give a 60 day notice which is crazy! I had to make the payment up front. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE. The girls in there are just money hungry, if you dont buy anything they wont like you.

what can i say about planet beach glendale, i love, love, love this planet beach!!!!! i first started back in high school as a senior and right away i was welcomed in with smiles and such personality. right away i became a member and fell in love with not only the services but the employees!! each girl was extremely sweet and kind. ive never felt more welcomed and comfortable at any spa before. i was always nervous to walk into a spa/tanning spa because of how the workers acted around me but not at this location. this location is full of such sweet, sweet girls and they remembered my name everytime i walked right through the door. i was sad that i had to leave because of college. after 2 years of being gone, i walked in the door again and right away the manager remembered me and was thrilled to see me come back. i am so happy to be back at this location and never wanna leave.

Where to begin with Planet Beach Arrowhead Ranch...First off, Ive been going for 3 years and have never had a problem with anything. The managers and employees are always so sweet and helpful. They make you feel so welcome! They are always on top of everything to make sure you get in and out fast, while leaving feelng great! The entire spa is always very clean along with all the services that are always clean and fresh feeling. Unlike any other spa, the prices are amazing! With their different packages, they make it affordable for anyone. I feel like I get a better experience at Planet Beach Arrowhead Ranch then any other spa Ive been too. I have also sent my family and friends there and they have all had an awesome experenice as well. I would definitely recommend this contempo spa to everyone!!!

Im very impressed. I just moved over to Glendale from Scottsdale and decided to try this place since it is right around the corner from me. After a very stressful move,I wanted to try the Hydro massage bed. It was relaxing and loosened my tight muscles. I also tried the tanning, although I am not into spray tanning, I did use the tanning beds. I got the unlimited membership, and keep going back every couple days. I have had 2 sessions on the teeth whitener, and want one more to get where I want to be. I really feel like I get my monies worth when I use 2 services in one visit. It feels like stuffing myself at a buffet. I appreciate that everyone has been friendly. It made me decide to not use up some tanning I had left at another place.

I have to say, I used to go to Celebrity Tanning and just recently checked out Planet Beach. I thought it was just a tanning salon but I was pleasently surpised to find out they had spa services. After hearing the sales pitch I was expecting to hear an outragous price for the membership but I am actually paying $40 less per month then what I was paying at celebrity. I am able to use steam beds, saunas, massages, and tanning. WAY better deal then the other places. Very clean too. The staff has been amazing and very informative about the products and equipment. They also allow you to schedule appintments, whereas most tanning salons only take walk ins. I would definetely recommend this place!

I used to have a tanning membership here. The girls were nice at first but after a while didnt care about me, the customer service quickly got worse. They would pressure me to buy something everything I came in and if I didnt buy anything they would snicker and make me feel very uncomfortable. They go through employees constantly and the manager Stephanie has been nothing but snotty and rude. She ignores any concerns that customers have. Stay clear of this place... its the worst experience I have ever had with a business. If the owners were smart they would be more involved and completely get all new staff with better training and customer service skills.
