Horrible. The worst haircut I have had in a long time, if not ever. I normally go to a barber down the street (A&D-10th st and Camelback) but felt their haircuts were overpriced ($19) I decided to explore my options. After searching online for locations near my work, this location seemed to have good reviews. I called ahead to set up an apt as I get cut on my lunch break and try not to be gone long. The person on the other end explained no apt was necessary, so I headed in. I was pleased when I arrived and there were 4 barbers all with open chairs. I was hoping to get Roman, but when I walked in, he ushered me to the back to a large elder gentleman in the last chair. The reviews stated everyone was good, so I thought it would be alright. Wrong. The fade was okay, left me dissatisfied, but my line up was TERRIBLE. My lineup was taken back so far it turned my forehead into a five-head. I ended up spending $20 here, versus the $25 it would have been at my normal shop and decided the extra $5 is worth assuring I have a great haircut. Luckily the guys over at A&D have been cleaning me up consistently enough to allow my forehead to grow back in with little notice.

Ive been here two different times, Once for a haircut and shave, another time for a "trim". The first time the haircut was great, however after the straight shave my neck bled for days on end and looked like I had been mauled by a bear. You would have thought that was warning enough to stay away but after a few months I decided to go get a neck trim. Bad Idea. Apparently when you tell Boris your growing your hair out and to leave the top and sides alone, In Russian it mean to cut EVERYTHING and leave it a little longer than normal. I am a professional, I need to look professional. I left this place with my hair looking like a cotton swab. Then when you do ask for it to be fixed they talk crap about you in Russian. Bad Business. Speak English around your English customers! I should have spend the extra time and gas driving to my regular barber at 19th and greenway.

I have been going to Central Barber Shop for a little over 5 years now. Each haircut and shave I have received has been awesome. I really enjoy how Roman pays attention to my style of haircut and beard trims. I never have to worry about what I will end up with. If I want it a little shorter or longer, its never a problem. He’s always got my back. I have even had the other barbers in the shop cut my hair and they too have done an excellent job. Prior to using Central Barber Shop, I had visited many barbers and always ended up with a bad cut that just had to grow out. Not with Central Barber Shop. That has never happened and I will keep going back. Also they are very friendly and it is a clean and relaxed environment. I always look forward to getting my cut and shave. I look better leaving there and feel like a million bucks. Thanks guys, you ROCK!!!

awsome! awsome! awsome! I have never had a bad haircut from Roman (first chair)!! My father and I both see him at least 3 times a month .. shaves are great! my haird cut is on point every single time.. and when I want to change my hair style up, Roman allways seems to know exactly what I am talking about. Another great point is the wait time.. I have never had to wait past 15 minuets to be seated. Its not just Roman who is talented either.. His other babers have regulars as well and they seem to be very pleased with thier hircuts just as I am. A great experience and a great loacation! you cant go wrong with Roman at Central baber shop!

I really enjoy coming to this barbershop, due to the fact that the price are very compatible and reasonable. The atmosphere is very welcoming and exciting in which when you first walk into the barbershop, the barbers greet you at the door. Also, they cut anytype of hair no matter, which ethnicity or race you are from. Which in my perspective in very interesting and good. I love that they trim your eyebrows and give you a massage. Kudos ! to Roman and the rest of the team at this barbershop and I will tell other people about this barbershop.

Roman, owner of this shop, has been my barber since 2006. He and his fellow barbers are friendly with a warm greeting when you enter. I have been very satisfied with Romans work for the last 7 years. He understands what I want and delivers each and every time I visit this shop. He is accommodating when you want to change your cut from a previous style. I appreciate that the shop recognizes my senior citizen status with good offers. I highly recommend this barber shop.

Oksana does fantastic haircuts for guys! She is very attentive and is careful to make sure what the client wants before she starts working. She does not act rushed or impatient while she is working - I feel that I am the object of all her attention when I am in her chair. Roman has cut my hair also and I was confident enough in his skill to close my eyes and say "Give me a new haircut," and I liked it so much I have kept that style from that day forward.

This is my favorite barbershop.When I lived in downtown Phoenix, I went here about every two weeks for a trim and to socialize. I havent been to Phoenix since 2010, but Im visiting in a few days. Ive been growing out my hair and whiskers just so I have an excuse to go to Central Barber Shop. It is an old school barbershop, with hot towel and lather, shave with a straight razor, etc. I love this place, and I hope you will, too.

That was one of the most painful experiences of my life. By the end of the shave my face was completely bloody and he kept trying to get the spots he missed. I just wanted it to be over! And he never cleaned up my goatee after I had asked him several times that I wanted it thinner. Im glad he didnt now because then I would have a bloody lip and chin to match my neck and cheeks. And its not even cheap! $40+. Never again.

I have been going to this shop for over 15 years. You can expect a friendly staff, excellent barbers, and superior service. I used to live only two blocks from the shop but recently moved 7 miles away. Yet I still come back to Central Barbershop for haircuts. In an environment where customer service is often lacking, Roman and his staff will treat you well.

Ive been out here on business for the past 4 months and been coming here since. When I first looked into barbers out here I wasnt sure where to go, I called and asked if they did good haircuts and of course they said yes... I figured I would give them a try and glad I did. Roman hooked it up the way I like it... Highly recommended...

Had one of the worst haircuts ever. Dont go to the guy named nick I think thats his name hes a tall old man with glasses. I told him clearly "do you know how to do a taper" he said yeah. Ended up not even getting a taper came out with a different haircut that was really bad wasnt worth playing 18 bucks. Dont go to this barber shop !
