Very nice place; however, my haircut was less than desirable. I told the non-social barber what I wanted, he began to cut, shave my neck, put a warm towel on my face, run a 1920s looking massage machine on my back for a few seconds, and then let me go. Not once did he let me look in the mirror (much less a hand mirror for the back) for my approval. The split second glance at the do he gave me as he released me from the chair, almost made me erupt in laughter. My hair was well jelled, parted, and very flat. I looked like a kid right off the boat waiting in line on Ellis Island. Not at all what I asked for. He cut it uneven for the part, so I couldnt just comb it to correct it. My other shock came with the price...$19!!! Its a barber shop, not a spa. I wouldnt mind giving the place a second chance, despite receiving, literally, the worst haircut of my life after not being able to give my input. However, I do not believe it is worth the risk, especially for the price.

These guys are the best barbers in Phoenix, hands down. Theyre professional, the shop is clean and cool and the music is rockin. There are no inadequate "great clips" rejects working here -- all classically trained barbers who understand hair and know how to use scissors, razors, straightedge and clippers to provide superior mens haircuts. The guys are friendly and welcoming. Best of all, each haircut comes with hot towels, hot foam lather neck shave with a straight razor (you cant find that in a generic salon these days), and a relaxing hand massage. Theyll even shine your shoes! The prices are very reasonable and youll walk out feeling like a million bucks. I recommend A & D Barbershop over any other barbershop in town!

I have been going to this barber for about two years now. I have never been dissatisfied with a haircut. They are meticulous and take there time to make sure hair is cut correctly. Out of the four barbers that I have had cut my hair at this location (over the last two years) the younger gentleman who is there now is by far my favorite. Clean fades and line ups.The downside is the price; $19. I feel it is slightly over priced (but worth it for a great haircut), but whats more annoying is that it makes me feel guilty leaving a $1 tip, so I kinda feel forced to give $25 which is outlandish.

In the process of changing the name to Pikassos. Clean and very professional business. Use their app to make appointments, its very easy to use! Shane (Pikasso) is a great barber and we always have very interesting conversations. The first time I went in, I had recently moved from Miami and already been to a couple other places in the Valley. I was a walk-in and I got my hair cut from him. I could tell my fade was good from the way it felt. Looking in the mirror only confirmed that he knew what he was doing. Hot towel and neck massage after is the icing on the cake!

I used to get regular cuts at Great Clips, and as a male who likes to keep up with himself, I knew I was cheating myself out of a clean cut and fresh look. I was recommended to A&D Barber Shop so I came in one day...sat down for a few moments and was greeted by the super friendly staff. ROBERT!! was the chosen barber and I told him the truth: I dont know to much about hair, and with him as the expert, I trusted him to give me the "true Gentlemans look"...he simply replied, "No problem at all my friend - I will take care of you." He most certainly did!

Great hair cuts up til the last. I didnt let this guy touch my beard for two months til I got it the length I wanted. When I finally let him line it up he chopped my left side to the jaw line and left the right thicker. I wanted my mustache evened out, he shaved a thick line right above my lip and cut at an angle taking away thickness. I trusted he knew how to do this when I saw clippers instead of scissors being used, wrong of me to trust. Then he charged me 30 dollars for this hack job. At a quick glance in a far mirror it looked good so I left.

I have been coming to A & D for years. Now my brother goes, as well as several of my friends who have all called to thank me for sending them in. Arthur runs a great shop and can take care of all your grooming needs with products, and services for men. Tvs at every station, complimentary waters, straight razor neck shave, hot towels, its more than just a haircut, you actually look forward to going in. Great place, great service, I never go anyplace else, nor do I want to! Thanks, A & D!!

Best damn barber Ive ever had! I am bad at describing how I want my haircut, and so I asked him to give me a good haircut. What I got was an experience; he started by carefully shaping the sides, trimming around the top, and got the perfect fresh fade lined up for me. THEN got my beard lined up with a straight razor. Very cool, and would recommend to anyone who wants a quality, manly haircut for a reasonable price.

Boris was awesome - advised me on hair style option, cut sideburns even and the neck line was perfect. Cut was short but scalp didnt show thru. Hot towels and message at the end were great touches you dont get typically. Pricing was good and marble floor and T.V.s provided first class atmosphere...! BEST IVE HAD! First place I went to in the past 2 years living in Phoenix. The environment is chill and the service is amazing. I seen Mercedes for cut and she did an awesome job. Paid attention to detail and asked questions on how I wanted my hair done as she was doing it. Ive never experienced this kind of service going into a barbershop. This will definitely be my go to place for now on.

These guys are the best in Phoenix, every time I go there they treat me with kindness and respect. When they cut your hair its very relaxing and they do a excellent job, I always feel good when I leave that place, I would recommend it to anyone who likes a nice and relaxing hair cut. When you go there look for Arthur or Mike those two guys are the best.

its a pretty decent shop+haircut....i have gotten my hair cut by Tumir and Boyash (sorry for spelling guys) Both of them did a stand up job....The prices are a little high...but if u know what u want and tell them, they get it done....if i could pay $10 for the haircut i get here i would, but i cant so i pay what they ask and leave satisfied.

Absolutely love this place my husband only goes here and now my son it is always clean and the staff is very respectful and professional. We will travel no matter where we live just to go to this barber shop!! Highly recommend this place to anyone who is a perfectionist with there hair!!! And they give you massages after ur cut!!
