Back in November 2015 I took in all of my dress pants for dry cleaning 4 days before a business trip. The next evening when I went to pick them up, I found that they had lost the pants. They may have given them to another customer. I waited there for over an hour that night while the salesperson tried to find my pants, only while there werent other customers there. I had to awkwardly sit there while she helped others instead of trying to find the clothes they had lost. She tried to contact the owner to no avail, and told me to call the next day to work something out with them. I made it clear that I needed the pants prior to my trip, otherwise I would be forced to rush and buy new pants, because I now had none...The salesperson even refused to refund my payment for the dry cleaning service, even though the only service I got was their business losing all of my items. I was told the next day to provide a receipt for the purchased pants, and if they couldnt find them before my trip they would reimburse me in full. No problem, right? Wrong. I have been in contact with the owner, Mike, multiple times since then - everytime he tells me either The check will be in the mail today. OR more recently Let me check my bank statements, pretty sure I sent it!. Well I can tell you, to this day Ive never seen a check. Or even a refund for the dry cleaning service. Please be careful when you use their service, sometimes the price isnt worth the hassle when something goes wrong. Poor customer service, A mess of a business. Ive spent way too much time with them there trying to get a resolution to this issue. Time to move on and go else where! Just an update: I called again about a couple of weeks ago and now the owner is trying to blame the USPS for not delivering his checks after multiple tries to my home - saying its not his fault. Had a very rude tone of voice over the phone, like I was wasting his time. Just shows you what kind of business they are running.

Damaged Suit Coat I initially liked this shop because the owner seemed nice and seemed to care about his customers. The last time I went in, I was sorely disappointed, I am considering filing a suit in Small Claims Court, and I will not go back. I took in 9 dress shirts and my nice Hugo Boss suit to get cleaned. When I went to pick up the clothes, I noticed a button missing from one sleeve of the suit coat, and on the other sleeve the button was loose and the material was torn. The woman working very quickly, and incorrectly, sewed a random button back on the sleeve, and began to attempt to fix the other button when I told her to leave it alone, and that Id talk with the owner in the morning. Imagine my frustration when the owner, Patrick Geraty, told me the damage to the sleeve was from moths and insisted it had been in storage (I wear the suit at least once a week). Hardly believing that could be possible, I sent the coat to Chicago to a re-weaver to inspect and repair it. They found that no material was missing around the tear, as is common with moth damage, but that the material had in fact been torn - by the cleaner. They also found the button was improperly sewed on to the sleeve. In addition to the suit coat problem, each one of the shirst I had cleaned had a large crease ironed into the back of the collar. I would have been better off washing and ironing them myself after the amount of time it took to get the creases out. If you have clothes that you care about, and if you care how you look in your nice clothes, I do not recommend Apollo Cleaners. Id go just about anywhere else.

If I could put a 0 star rating I would. It was my first time going to this cleaner and as I was walking in there was a customer complaining about damage clothing. I thought twice but for some reason still gave them a try since there are picky customers out there. Sure enough the next day when I went to pick up my clothes, my BRAND new pants were ruined. I called to ask what happened since I was out on a business trip and could not go in. The owner MIKE said that I had to go in. He was very rude on the phone and hung up on me before I could finish talking. I went into the store and again there was a customer complaining about damaged clothing. I waited my turn to speak with Mike. When talking with him he said that it was not his fault that the pants were damaged it was the due to the type of the material? FYI I have bought and dry cleaned these same pair of pants over 5 times and have never had a problem with them till I went to Apollo cleaners. Mike was very rude, did not listen at all, and was not helpful or understanding. Please do not bring any items to this cleaners. STAY AWAY. Horrible cleaning, Horrible service, and they do not do 1 hr cleaning.

i went in yesterday to see if they could alter my suit by taking the seat and slimming the sleeves. They said "no problem, bring it in tomorrow and well take are of it". I took the suit in this morning and the man that seems to be the owner immediately (without looking at the suit) told me that it was impossible because I was trying to alter what the manufacturer made and that I should just go buy a new suit. What are alterations? I thought it was for altering how the garment was made. I told him I know it can be done and he asked me how I would do it. Ummmmmm I dont know, thats why I brought it to an alterations place..? Im kinda confused. Im sure these guys are great if you just need a dry clean, but just take your clothes to a tailor/seamstress elsewhere for alterations.

Updated 10/1/2015: Gave them a second try same result, worst service I have experienced. DONT GO HERE. Worst cleaner I have every used. I used them for the convent factory and should had gone with my instinct and gone else where. They pick up and drop off to my building. They press my pants COMPLETELY the wrong way and left double press marks. shirts had pressed in wrinkles. Tried calling the manager multiple times and was never connected to him. ruined couple items when they tried to get marks out, took those same items to another cleaner they had no problem removing the marks but apollo ruined them already by putting scratch marks in them.

The worst cleaners in the world Ive ever experienced! Was charged for shirts that came back with a stain (1); 2 pairs of pants that came back incredibly creased and two additional shirts that have dirt on them (although nicely ironed)! The attendant who barely spoke English offered to do one shirt over and would be ready Monday. I leave town tomorrow and need to take my clothes with me and furtrhermore now need to buy a new pair of pants and a new shirt for a meeting MOnday since I dont have clean clothes as I had expected!!!! Truly a digrace! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
