I am the mother of two children who both attend Imagination Station. My older child has attended since the age of 8 months and is about to graduate from their preschool program. There has been a lot of thought given to how the center is structured for each age group. I was initially drawn to the separate nurseries for babies 0-6 months and 6-12 months, and separate toddler classrooms for 12-18 and 18-24 months. As the mother of an 8 month old, I loved that the older baby room was geared toward more mobile babies and had many activities to help them crawl, pull to standing, and walk. This knowledge of child development in each classroom continued as my older child grew up. At home, potty training and transitioning out of the crib were an absolute breeze, because the children had been gradually working toward these milestones for months and years. When my older child reached preschool age, I was quickly impressed with the academic focus of the preschool. My child is beyond ready for kindergarten due to the hard work of the staff in the last two years. We recently had a speech and language evaluation, and my child was measuring above 7 years old for use of language and language comprehension. The tester said “He must go to a great school with these results!” As I’ve met other parents at school functions and birthday parties, they have echoed my pleasure with the good balance of fun and learning that our children have received, and all feel that their child is totally ready for kindergarten. In addition to regular learning and play times, they have music/dance class, field trips to Changing Hands bookstore, and the summer program has been great fun with special activities and water play. There are also the Christmas show, Easter Egg Hunt and Mother’s Day and Father’s Day parties. My younger child began in the 0-6 month nursery around 5 months ago and we have noticed the same quality of care that we valued with our first son. In fact, he has the same teacher now as my older child did, and many of the teachers have been there since we started. Both children have always been happy to go to school! Any issues during the school day have been clearly communicated to me by the teacher, and when necessary, the administrators. My questions, comments, and concerns were always well received, and I felt like I could approach the owner or director at any time, which was easy to do as they are both there every day. The presence of cameras in each room and in the play area was reassuring to me, just in case of any problems. We have been so pleased with both the childcare and preschool programs. I have always felt like I was leaving my children with teachers who genuinely love them while I am away. I have recommended the center to two friends, and the children in both families have attended for years since the recommendation. I urge you to check it out! We love Imagination Station!

Its been a long time coming but Ive finally unenrolled both of my kids from this daycare. It started with my daughter getting bullied in the pre-k room. She would beg not to go every morning to the point where she would throw up. I removed her from this daycare and she is now thriving at Best Friends Preschool. My son, i was a little hesitant to move him since he has been at this daycare since he was 4 months old. I grew to love his teachers which is the only reason i stayed so long. My son was moved to the toddler room when he turned 1 and it went down hill from there. My son is anemic which means he gets sick alot. My son caught pneumonia and we were hospitalized for 4 days. We were still charged for the days he wasnt there, which still doesnt make any sense. Why bill someone for a service they did not even use? Couldnt use.. Should i have taken him out of the ER and to daycare to avoid having to get billed? Im paying the charges still even though he is no longer enrolled there because i dont want to leave a bill. Its ridiculous. But on top of that.. My son was bit twice.. For one i was given a notice but the 2nd bite they werent sure when it happened. I took photos and let them know there are bite marks on him. He was then scratched on the face a week later. This makes me wonder if he was being watched correctly. How is he getting hurt so often? I drop my son off with the thought he will be safe and not harmed. I brought my concerns of him getting hurt on their watch to management. I was told these things happen, kids get bit. But this often? Sometimes without them knowing? I was recieved with what felt like argression from management. Like i was a burden to even bring up my concerns about payment and him getting hurt. I disenrolled him that day and moved him to Best Friends Preschool.

I went to enroll my kids to start on a monday. I went in on thrusday toured the building talked to the lady at the desk she knew my kids were coming. She told me on monday to pay the 85 for escrow i said ok. I go in friday to drop off the papers and they told me o we ment to call you but we filled up this morning. I said what if you told me i had to pay yesterday which was thrusday i would have to hold there spots. She said ya sorry. I think that was so rude and unprofessional of them knowing i picked them and didnt have another ootion at that moment. Im glad i didnt go in monday with my kids and then them tell me that and i miss work. If i could give no stars i would for them being so unconsiderate, and unprofessional. And i also asked about a teacher because she was grabbing kids arms very roughly and i was making sure to point out they better not grab my chikdren like that. So i guess its a sign my kids dont need to be in a place like that

My wife and I love Imagination Station, our newborn son started there as soon as he was old enough to be in the nursery. Now he is in the Toddler 1 class, his experience has been wonderful; he learns so much and is excited to go there to see his teachers and friends. They taught him sign language, and he uses it, we always know when he wants more food because he signs to us for “more.” When he sees his teachers he puts his little arms up to hug them and be held, this alone makes Imagination Station a part of our family. We initially lived 5 minutes away, when we moved, part of our criteria was that we wanted to be within 15 minutes of the daycare. I drive past several other daycares to get to Imagination Station, it is worth it, because for our son this is the place for him, the people there make the difference, I could not imagine going to any other place.

I had interviewed many daycare facilities and even private in home services, as a mother of twins I had a high level of standards and I the first time I walked into the door I knew this was a comforting place. I love the fact that many of these teachers have been there for years, Stephanie, Lisa, Rosa, Coral and a few others and of course the owner Kris. I love that about this center. There was a difficult time in our families lives and I can really appreciate the understanding, love and comfort that was given to my girls. It has been over three years and after this summer its time to move on but I will always recommend this center to all my friends who ask. Thanks Imagination Stations for all the amazing memories, you are truly loved and will be missed!
