This is a family operation that recently lost their office manager. This person clearly did a lot in terms of the customer service. I used them to coat my roof and asked them to do an inspection for any other issues. About 2 months after the job was done I sold my house and the inspector came by and nearly half his report was on the roof quality or lack there of. I asked them to come out and check on the issues and write me a document that guarantees the quality of my roof for the new home buyers. This document was sent in the form of a poorly written email and when I asked if they could give me a more official document (which I wrote for them and they just had to fill in the blanks to address the concern) I was given a guilt trip by Scott about how he already did this basically and he didnt want to do the 5 minutes worth of work on the computer to help me. After spending a couple thousand dollars I dont feel like you should make the customer feel bad for something like this but clearly that wasnt a concern for Scott. I would urge anyone looking for roofing help to go with another company that has a complete staff of people who are eager to help you. Very very sad when a family company treats its customers like I was treated, customer service should be the corner stone of these businesses and clearly with Ralph Hayes Roofing it is not.

One of the best ways to judge a company is to look at their past performances. This is done several ways. Google reviews are a good way but have only been in existence for about 7yrs, which for smaller start ups is great. The problem with Google reviews are they dont tell the whole customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction for the companies that have been around for several decades. For this you need to use other methods. I like to use the common sense approach which would tell me that a company that has been around as long as RHR, run by the same management, must be doing something right. I personally have not used RHR. RHR is family. I am endorsing RHR based on the certainty that the company is run by the most honest people Ive ever known. I am certain as RHR which is now on Google reviews continues, their positive reviews will out pace the negative ones.

We called Ralph Hayes roofing after a terrible storm which caused the shingles on our house to leak, the shingles are from when the House was made. Scott came out right away (on a Saturday) to inspect the roof once he inspected he recommended that we look into getting the roof reshingled or redone completeley. We talked about the new coating and decide to go with that, RHR worked with us and the insurance company and the whole experience was great! RHR was out the next week and took off all the shingles replaced some of the plywood and then put the coating on the whole process only took two days. I highly recommend RHR as they were efficient and came to our aid in a timely manner.

They came to repair my storm damaged roof and they damaged my other roof line. Never said a word about the damage to other roof. Did a very sloppy job fixing "their damage". Snuck off when finished!! When I went on the roof, for the cooler recently, is when I saw what they screwed up and patched . They left tar dripping all over. Messy messy sloppy job! Charged me 3 times more then other estimate . Thought that they would do good job with higher rate. The actual claim work was ok but their "F-up" is a mess still!!!!!!

Recently had a combined flat and tile roof replaced by RHF and was pleased with the entire staff from the office to the owner Scott. They communicate from the time the estimate is done (Bobby), to the progress of the work( Dennis), to any special issues that arise during installation ( Scott). I would recommend this company to write an estimate for your roof with the confidence that they will do what they promise, when they promise and keep you updated as the work progresses. *****

Company does not honor their warranties, owner has been avoiding me. I would not recommend this company to others. The other review listed her (first name begins with M) is actually the companies secretary, so take her review with a grain of salt.

Just had a shingled roof replaced 8000 dollars and it is a very poor workmanship they caulked half the house very poorly and didnt do the opposite side at all very disappointed in what I paid for wouldnt recommend this company to my enemy
