Let the buyer beware! By the time that The roof on the house you are buying needs these people to fix it you likely need a new roof. Yes they do a good job at fixing the problem that is immediately at hand. However do not trust that they will do anything other than try to sell you a maintenance contract for the roof that theyve told you was going to last a lot longer. They do not make their living off of telling people that they need a new roof they make their living off of fixing the roof in whatever place it is that it has an immediate problem. What this means in short is that if the seller of the home you are considering buying has employed these people and you ask them if the roof is going to last and they tell you that it will they then will present you with a receipt that shows that they will not honor any thing that they said about any portion of that roof other than what they personally have worked on. This is exactly what happened in my case. I asked them to make a statement about the roof when I bought the house and they said it would easily last for another four years. I dont know much about roofs but I told him it looked to me like the roof was worn out and that it needed a new roof. So they brought out their boss over the operation who then said that the roof would last another four years. So I had it written into the contract that they would then come and look at that roof and make sure it lasted for the next four years. This conveniently disappeared before closing and when I finally saw the document at closing it basically said that they were not responsible for anything except for the part of the roof they had worked on. And that they were not going to be doing anything else other than warranting what they had worked on. Be very careful with these people as they are very good at making sure that they do not have a legal problem by having themselves covered very well with what it is that they give you a receipt of. There are so many ways that they can weasel out of anything that you dont want to be involved. I am now facing the cost of replacing the entire roof after only one year of living in my home. The roof that I said look to me like it was worn out indeed was so despite their insurances I am now screwed. My worst mistake was to take the word of someone Who did not have my best interest in mind and was more interested in making money then being honest.

Few months ago, my husband and I sold our rental home. We were so happy Hallmark Roofing was able to take care of the items that the home inspection mention in the report. Within few days of contacting them they gave us their free, thorough estimate with photographs of areas needing repairs and they were able to have the job done before closing as promised. Hallmark roofing took care of our roof in a timely manner, meeting deadlines even in a rainy season. Their estimate beat the competition’s by 30%. I understand they work a lot with real estate transactions and they are the preferred roofing company for many realtors in town. They also take care of preventative inspections and regular maintenance and repairs of roofs. We didn’t have a trusted roofing company until the first time we needed one, now we would definitely recommend Hallmark Roofing to anyone in need.

Hallmark was hired to coat and patch our entire Associations roofs. They came and did a substandard job according to an independent roofing consultant. THEN, they began to weasel out of honoring their 3-year warranty. They said the warranty began with their estimate to us which was signed 5 months before they did the work. Thats just plain bad business. Warranties begin when the work is completed. And they have made excuse for the 2 1/2 years of the warranty to not fix the roofs - too many calls, we cant afford that, your roofs are in bad condition and now their blatant dishonoring of the term of the warranty. We gave them every chance to be honorable business people and they failed. We would never hire them again.

I got to know Dan Hall by phone and email before I even owned a house in Tucson. He didnt know it, but I relied on his insights when negotiating the purchase of our home here. I was so impressed with him that I hired Hallmark Roofing to perform regular maintenance on the roof of our new home and later to repair the roof after we removed an evaporative cooler from the roof and installed a new, packaged Furnace/AC unit up there. Dans crews are some of the friendliest and most professional Ive encountered here in Tucson, and Dans office staff has always been quick to respond to inquiries. Its a great bunch of people.

Hallmark roofing honored their warranty and came out to patch a top coat that they had applied on my homes flat roof 20 months ago. Basically the existing underlayment caused their product to fail in just a few spots. The man who came out, John, was courteous and on time. I have read that others had problems with their warranty work, ie. it had to actually leak - this was not the case for me. I feel I was treated fairly.

It has only been 6 months.Thats just plain B.S. They argued vehemently with our Realtor, who had recommended them, and will do so no longer. They even REFUSED to come to the house to inspect our complaint.

Terrible! the company not only has no integrity they are rude and smug. They perform substandard work. Then they try and collect more money later when your roof starts leaking in the same place. That cant be legal. I am contacting my attorney as well as filing a formal complaint with the state. Buyer beware!

I had multiple leaks on my roof and had several different companies come out and fix them. They of course didnt fix them at all, I finally called Hallmark and they were honest, polite, and very reasonable price wise. They fixed all the leaks and havent had any issues since. I recommend them to everyone.

Horrible. They did a roof inspection and missed a VERY significant area. After a leak occurred, I asked them to come out to re-inspect to evaluate whether or not they missed a problem with the roof in their inspection. The owner Dan Hall refused. I found their response very unprofessional.
