All the reviews prior to January 30th are fake. I just stopped by the branch to use the DMV service and theres a big banner that reads "opening January 30". I talked to a friendly guy who works there and he said they would be open on Monday (today is Jan 27) and hed be happy to help me then. It forced me to put SOMETHING for a star rating, cant honestly give it a 5 since I technically havent dealt with them yet. Ill rewrite this after I work with them. In short, and review posted prior to Jan 30th, 2017 is fake. Funny how they are like a month old. Fake people suck, makes it difficult to trust reviews.

I had a complicated situation with a classic sports car that included out of state title, hard to find Vin numbers etc.. DMV would have send me to the back of the line for hours but thanks to a gentleman by the name of Ken I had everything sorted out in 15 minutes. The woman that initially tried to help me out kept complaining that it was almost her lunch time so I said "go to lunch please". It was clear she had no idea what she was doing and couldnt care less. Ken said "yeah go to lunch" and finished the paperwork no problem. Thats worth five stars. RD

Okay. Confusing. This office does not have it together about addressing you when you first come in the door. There is no obvious go to waiting line if there is one. One guy at a front podium (start line?) does not acknowledge you while talking to another to have you wait. Then waited in a seating area right there while he saw 2 other people after I came in. Apparently I am invisible. 1st day of its opening around 4 pm. I only wanted a new DMV booklet, or ask about when its available. No help. I walked out.

When I called to ask about DMV services they told me they were open until 5:30 pm. I took off of work unpaid for the latter part of the day in order to get there between 5 and 5:30 as they said it wouldnt take more than 15 minutes. I got there at 5:05 and they said DMV services were closed at 5pm and wouldnt make an exception. This is NOT what was communicated to me on the phone. I wasted my time and money going there. Next time go somewhere else.

Went to the new Alameda branch office to see about changing my homeowners insurance to AAA where I have my auto insurance since 1987. Jarrett Washington was my agent, and he was extremely knowledgable and pleasant. He crunched numbers and gave me a better homeowners policy than I had, and saved me money doing it! All in all it was a great experience. Highly recommend Jarrett for all your insurance needs! Edgar J. Short

Super clean, people are all really friendly. They do some services, so you might be able to avoid going to the DMV which is basically a fate worse than death and they botch your paperwork anyways, so just come here and have it done right the first time instead of paying twice to have your life complicated by jerks that cant do their job. Love it.

Pray you dont get Brenda. If you want to have to read your information off of the paperwork to the person working the dmv desk so they can tell you to fill out the wrong form and make you stand in line for another hour for no reason this is the place for you.

Fabulous new CSAA office AND friendly staffs. There was K-cup coffee ready for customers enjoyment. Receiving my International Drivers Permit within 10 minutes. Bravo, CSAA!!!
