This spa is the worst I have ever experience. I heard on the radio about the "bayarea body wraps" so I decided to give myself a treat so I called to find out the price of a wrap and she told me it was $149.00. Since I am a mother of 2 kids I checked my budget and decided this would be a really relaxing time for me. The day of the body wrap I was running late and when I got to the spa The owner told me I had arrived too late and she couldnt see me. I understood that and I tried to reschedule but she told me she WOULD STILL CHARGE ME THE WHOLE AMOUNT OF THE SERVICE ($149.00) She told me that just because I was late, she wasnt going to LOSE OUT ON MONEY she was going to make. She had told me over the phone the "no show fee" would be $40.00 but since I did show up I felt I didnt have to pay anything for being late. She argued with me for an hour and I finally gave up and left in tears. A DAY THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE RELAXING, TURNED OUT TO BE THE WORST.

I am not sure how this spa got such high rating on Goolge, but you should look at the results on Yelp. I received a gift certificate for three 30 minute messages. I used all three only because I did not want to gift to go to waist. On all three occasions I had scheduling issues, poor service and the owner tried to manipulate me in to paying more than I owed (which was nothing except the tip since I had the gift certificate.) The spa itself if really nice. It would be the perfect place for a relaxing service if it had the following: new owner/manager, more organized receptionist and better service providers.

I received a gift certificate for services at Surfaces. What a treat it was. I was treated so well and when I got up after my services, I couldnt even stand. Further, my skin has never, never looked this good. I bought a few products and was somewhat reluctant to start another product line, but I am so glad I did. What a substantial difference. Even my husband mentioned how great my skin looked. Overall, the place is intimate, beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff was wonderful. Yes, I WILL BE BACK. Lorie

During the past few month I have been totally stressed out. My husband bought me a a facial and massage at Surfaces. Let me tell you, it was a tremendous experience. Firstly, the people were professional and new their stuff. Secondly, they we so kind, considerate and carrying. I couldnt even stand after the treatments were over. It was the first time in months, I have been so relaxed. Finally, my skin has been rejuvenated and believe me I will be back. Nancy

I had the most wonderful facial and waxing here. I received so much knowledge about how my skin works. I was amazed at the info I received. The facial and waxing was exceptional and the face and shoulder massage was better than some full body massages I have had. Surfaces the Spa is a great find!

Excellent service and an beautiful place it is. My facial was thorough and it was literally the best I have had. I immediately felt relaxed sipping on hot cup of tea. Then I was ushered into a fantastic room that was so comfortable I fell asleep. I will be going back regularly. Thanks. Ln
