This shop used to be our go-to because of its reliability and timeliness of repairs. Most important of all, this was a shop my Petite Red Headed Passion Flower could go to and not be in fear of being sold a bill of goods. Recently, this shop has gone downhill in regards to not only what we perceived to be mechanical capability but customer service also. Our last three visits have been less than satisfactory. Examples would include the incorrect installation of an EGR valve (never mind that it took 4 days to diagnose, we were cool with it), the lack of a timely phone call to tell us our vehicle was ready (when the initial phone call from the Service Manager committed to a phone call to tell us when the vehicle was ready). This resulted in short words with the staff as they were closing up shop. Last but not least, a recent oil change in my diesel truck was the last straw. I waited in the store while the oil was changed and the tires rotated. The Service Manager told me my vehicle was ready, I paid and drove away. Half way home I received a phone call on my cell to return to the shop. Seems the shop shorted me one quart of oil and it was no big deal. I returned to find the mechanic actually shorted me 4 quarts! I give up! Pep Boys has always been a good economical decision when it came to the work our our vehicles. I have choices and I would prefer to pay a couple bucks more to get it done right the first time somewhere else. We are over Pep Boys.

I bought 4 tires which should had been new but I had to bring my car because both tires were bald and very scary experince going to work and then driving to Pep boys on Licoln and Anaheim. I wanted them to fix the tires because of their negalience. I had to pay 90 dollars and they want to charge another 90 for alignment. I refuse because when tire. were install the following week I came back complaining. about the back tires and that there was something wrong and they did not look new. I feel Pep boys was negligent and they did not even put the right mileage.when I bought the tires. They should do the right thing tthe aligment putting the new tires and also replaces my rim which also was not in my vehicle. I am letting the BBB and Auto corporation on how nervouus and agraid I felt for their shotty work. I could have been kill or injured someone else. because of poor work. I am appalled They should do the right thing by me the customer

People that work in the store are friendly and helpful. People in the garage I havent had a good experience with yet. Ive been here multiple times, usually the guy at the register is nice, but generally they dont care if you have to sit there for hours waiting for service to be finished. It took over 2 hours for a standard oil change. They had 4 mechanics on the floor and 1 or 2 empty car slots. The second time I went, I stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to be helped while the mechanics (in plain sight of me) stood there talking. Then I went into the main building, asked for help, and the woman paged the mechanics. When I returned to the service desk, they looked at me another minute or two, then finally came over to help me. They need a new garage manager and a fresh swap of hands.

Some of the worst customer service Ive ever received. Been there 3 times to give them a chance and every single time the workers are unresponsive. Ive waited at the service desk for assistance in picking out tires for over 10min with 3 other customers waiting as well. All of that while a shop manager was on his break in the waiting room listening to all of us complain... All of the shop employees saw us waiting. Several times it seemed somebody was going to come out to assist us and then they would turn around and go back to whatever they were doing. To make it more frustrating and unprofessional, the employee at the register inside of the store had a clear view of all of us waiting on assistance and never once came over to see if we needed help.

I went to get a oil change and tire rotation at 10 am, I was told it would be at most 3 hours, now that was OK, but when I get there at 6 pm , MY CAR WAS NOT TOUCHED. So to the pathetic children, who have been trusted to be a ADULTS, that work in the service department....INCLUDING the assistant manager....bro.....you do NOT DESERVE THAT TITLE !!! Ive seen the homeless with more DRIVE then you. For soooom reason, It felt like you were to used to being talked to, yelled at , scolded, for...just STANDING THERE. Seriously HOW DO PEOPLE KEEP THEIR JOBS. YOU WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE BEEN FIRED LONG AGO.

Service was ok until I dropped off the car for my 6 pm appointment 5/16/16. I have scheduled an alignment check for my tires. They said they call me for pricing . I waited till 7 40 to call them. They said they will check the car right now so I headed back to pep boys, got there at 7 55 the car is still outside. There respond was they got slammed, I figure the walk in costumers got priority over mine. So I took the car home and not planning to be back pep boys place ever again.

on may 18 2014 at 10:30 am i went to pepboys for a replacement of my break pads, this red head big chubby guy told me that it would take 2 hrs to get everything done so i went to lees sandwiches to eat, 2 hrs after i went back and they told me they needed 2 more hrs to finish, i said okay ill wait by 3:30 they still havent touch the car asked the big fat red head guy whats taking so long and he said we are busy. I did not get any apology for making me wait such rude people.

I dont know what manager think about himself March 7th 2016 around 7:15 I was at store to get new tire with my friend first he said 10 mins will cost me 149.99 to change and can be done today I told him I need to make a call I guess he got offended told cant be done today as he is too busy not one car at store I dont know what he thinks of himself he lost customer and sale thats called professionalism I think his name was juan avoid this place

People here are really rude do not care for making someone wait and also will make eye contact but wont acknowledge you. I asked to speak to the manager aris about the wait and his look in his face was just like he didnt care all I got was a sorry and walked away leaving me waiting there. Would strongly not recommend this place.

Dont go here. The mechanics are not honest, are lazy, and are expensive. I had a flat tire they charged me 20 dollars to patch with a patch I could have bought myself at Walmart. They didnt fix it correctly and I missed work the next morning because the tire was flat again.
