I love love love this gym. The classes are great, there are so many different options at convenient times, and even the classes that you are supposed to book ahead never fill up. The locker rooms are spotless and have everything you could ever possibly need- towels, good quality products, even razors and mouthwash! I was worried when I first started that it would be a very image-conscious place but most of the people who go are just normal people like me who want a good work out. Its certainly not the cheapest gym in the area, but you get a LOT for what you pay. Just an unlimited membership to a Barre or Yoga studio would probably cost you more than what you will pay at this gym which offers much more than just those classes. It even has parking.

Love how clean and new everything is! The Equinox staff are all friendly and helpful. The Spa is my favorite feature because I have a place to recover after a hard workout. Cant beat the convenience... Movement, Nutrition, and Regeneration are all equal parts of wellness; Equinox offers all three in one location plus shopping!

Compared to the market location, this gym hosts the same equipment with free parking and no crowds. Did I also mention its $100 cheaper than working in the overcrowded SF locations? Strongly recommend if you are living in the east bay. Even if you work in the city, it is worth it.

I had been going to the SF market st location for about a year and just switched to Berkeley. This gym is a bit smaller but everything is spotless. I also really enjoy the friendly staff. A good smile goes a long way.
