I wish I can give them minus 5 stars .Not recommending the gym . staff is not friendly- concord location .Missorganized , not clean , the floor was redone to accommodate cross for its not suitable for Zumba classes or any other classes . instructors and stuff quit often or are let go.New staff doesnt have a way to address clients properly nor knows whats going on to correctly answer simple questions in a normal polite way. The floor had to be redone 3 times for one year as well as the roof the airconditioning is not well controlled and its not controlled manually from the facility but from GMs phone from what we were tolled clients were boiling having classes. Its a hazard to your knees to have classes of any dancing sort. A lot of people quit . I do not recommend the place. Not enough good classes in the afternoons such as boot camp etc..a lot of Zumba classes witch are fun. Ive been a loyal client of the gym before the facility was open , it was fitness evolution i signed up when it was ufit.i had good times made ton of friends it felt as a family - staff was nice the gym was full. Now there is no family atmosphere the gym is almost to empty from over 45 people in class to a 4 if so- classes started getting cancelled you go and you are not sure if there will be a class at times. Props to the awesome instructors who do their job and are very nice people. The colors of the class- room are dark and depressing . Not a happy place to be. I started going to Martinez location - the floor is helpful for dancing and exercises . Out of nowhere no notice group classes get cancelled so I cancelled my membership as well. I cancelled once and revoked my cancellation a month ago .tried and gave it a last shot but how many chances you give. They do not care!! The corporate was always about the money never took good care of the clients AC is not on point. Staff at Martinez location were nice. Its a shame great instructors were let go so is a lot of peoples motivation to be healthy. That was really wrong!

Looks like most people are complaining when they want to cancel, I can say that the gym is very clean! Other gyms in the area are NOT kept anywhere near this clean. The continued arrival of new equipment over the months is also something that you will not see at other gyms . most just open and promise all this new equipment but reality is what u see is what u will get for many years to come. The gym has already been repainted, most gyms 20 years later, staff seems nice enough for me. Not sure about the opening late on consistent basis , that would be bad. I did go the other morning and was not open yet, 20 minutes after schedule

this facility is very near my home, half a mile! wonderful! the monthly rates are very reasonable! i go there 6 times a week! thats the good part! the bad parts are not acceptable and need to be changed, m-f, im there @ 5 am, too many times, no one shows up to open! the place is always left in disarray from the night before, they need better managers to police the members that are trashing the place! at 5 am, who really needs the music blasting techno junk, turn down, or turn off the music! why does it take in excess of 2 months or more to fix a machine? totally unacceptable! thank you for listening!

DO NOT JOIN!!! Just called to cancel and was told that "only the manager" has the ability to cancel memberships. I was then asked if Id like to make an appointment with the manager to cancel my membership When I said "no", I was told I needed to either make an appointment to cancel in person OR I could request a cancellation via certified mail. When I asked about this, I was told they need my signature. Ive had many different types of accounts. The only ones Ive ever needed to physically show up to cancel were bank related ones. Clearly, theyre trying to make it as hard as possible to cancel.

Do not join this gym! It is impossible to cancel! My husband and I made multiple phone calls and trips to this gym to cancel our memberships. After finally getting someone to cancel and being handed a piece of paper and being told "just sign here and your membership will be canceled" 2 months later they started deducting membership again!! I call the gym and they tell me I signed a "3 month freeze" What?! Are you serious?! I dont know what kind of scam they have going....but trust me...look elsewhere for a gym!

I had a really bad experience when cancel my membership. First of all, They failed to transfer the money from our bank account and they make me to pay the late fee, when I want them to verify my bank account from their system, they refused and the only reason they gave is they never had a problem in their system before. Amazing reason! After that, when I request for a printed receipt, they said they dont even have a printer. I was astonished about their "professional" job. Please think twice before enrollment.

Ive been going to this location since 1/14. The gym is ok. I go at 5am because there is not many people here. If you go in the evening the place is packed. They do have some issues with equitment being fixed in a timely manner; however, I have noticed it is getting a little better. You get what you pay for pretty much. You cant expect to pay $10 a month and have luxury. It works for me. If your looking for towels and water to be handed to you, then this isnt for you.

This is a great facility in general. However, I am very unhappy with the channel selections on the aerobic machine TVs. They did have both CNN and Fox News channels, but a few weeks ago these disappeared and now there is most garbage like Dr. Phil and The View. I have asked about this twice at the desk and was told that CNN and Fox News would be put back, but this has never happened.

No problems with this gym! Equipment is new, gym is clean, they have showers (unlike nearby Fitness 19). Plenty of parking (unlike 24 Hour Fitness in Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill). Plus the drinking fountains have ice-cold water (I know, a minor thing, but appreciated!). Whenever Ive been there, there have been only a couple/few people using this gym.

The worst gym i ever have been to .. The managements is totally irresponsible , and if you go attracted by their cheap deals make sure that you dont lose your personal belongings - and dont be cheated by their no contract too , it is not as easy you think it is to terminate .. couple of my friends and i had bad experience here

We joined, and after several months decided it was not going to work for us. They will not let us cancel. Not over the phone, not in person, nothing. We have tried to make appt with Manager and even then it is impossible to get an appointment. Clearly they have been instructed to make it difficult to terminate the agreement.

Tried to cancel my membership months ago only to have them continually charge my account almost a year later... When I called they wouldnt settle it over the phone.. They said I had to come in or write a letter.. apparently its easy to get in the club but a f+#_=/ hassle to get out.. and they steal your money.
