I am extremely impressed with Mekatron. I am originally from NY and was a bit worried about finding a trustworthy mechanic out here. Dropped off my vehicle at their shop for the first time. My car was making a weird ticking noise; as I accelerated, the noise became louder. Ian kept me in the loop the entire time. He called me to tell me he didnt hear the noise when he drove the vehicle. I asked him if he put the window down; he was honest and said no and told me hell give it another try. They ended up finding the problem and fixing it for me. They even hooked me up with a free rental! These guys are the definition of professionalism! Originally, I brought my car to Oakland Acura expecting the best service. Unfortunately, I ended up with the exact opposite. I wont bother wasting my time with Oakland Acura anymore! MEKATRON IS THE PLACE TO GO! Ian and Michael love saying "we want to build relationships that last!" They are absolutely right! They certainly won me over! A+ for Mekatron!

Ive been taking my last 3 cars to Mekatron for any major service because I trust them to do an excellent job at a fair price. They arent the cheapest place, but I trust them to do a good job and not try to take advantage of me. Also, they are friendly, and like to explain the hows and whys without rushing.

Honest and fair estimates, good explanations for what is needed and why, thorough, track every part in your vehicle and replace when its time, good reminders for service, arrange for rental car when necessary, provide rides to BART nearby, provide coffee, water, and snacks.
