I would give them a 10+. We were there for a dance convention from out of town. When I went out to start my car it would not start. I called AAA. They sent 2 different companies to try to start the car. They jumped it with no success. Then one of them started hammering on my alternator with a hammer and said my starter and alternator needed to be replaced. Finally I had it towed to Agnew Autocare since they were one of the few repair shops in the area that could get me in and guaranteed to repair my vehicle the same day so we could drive home. They looked at it within 15 min. and gave me an estimate and told me it would be completed in an hour. Not only did they keep their word on the time for the repair, they also came in under the estimate they had given me. It was just a bad battery and they had to replace the battery leads. These guys were friendly, honest, and saved our trip. Now I know why they had a line of vehicles when my car arrived at their shop! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone for all their automotive needs whether it is regular maintenance or repairs!! I am a hard customer to please and Agnew exceeded all my expectations and then some!! Jill

Don and his crew work on my 2 vehicles and also on many vehicles for my friends. They have done excellent work and do some in a timely fashion and at a very reasonable price. In my case, I have had extensive work done for struts, axles, clutch, catalytic converters, oil and camshaft seals, AC, cooling, and exhaust service as well as tuneup/maintenance. Pretty much a bit of everything on my 2 old vehicles, one of which is 24 years old and the other is 12 years old, both with 250K+ miles. I usually am able to stop by and have the car looked at right away and often serviced the same day. Don is a straight shooter and tells it like it is. I highly recommend him and his crew to anyone.

This time when I went to see Don, the owner of Agnew Auto Care, he tried the lowest cost option first. Then he moved onto the fix, but didnt charge me for the first try! Wow! When I was waiting, he was on the phone with a dealership for another customer. He was trying to save that customer money by telling the dealership where that customers problem really was; so he was trying to save people money, for no charge. Please encourage honest mechanics by visiting this one. Honesty is unfortunately so rare in this field that we need to support ones like Agnew Autocare with our business. Besides, youre almost certain to save money with this firm.

My wife went there to get her smog test done. She didnt know that having Engine light on automatically fails the test. Anyways, this guys ran the test, even though they knew it was going to fail. And after the test they are like.. duh ofcourse it was to fail, your engine light was on ! They just wanted to make money. Note: A smog technician can not refuse to test your vehicle based on the fact that he or she notices an illuminated light. The smog technician must perform the smog check and fail your vehicle. This is California State law. They would have atleast advised against it. Never going back. Most customer unfriendly shop.

Found them initially on Yelp and decided to give them a call. All I needed was a basic oil change and rotation of tires. Don (owner) was very straight forward and friendly. Pricing was very fair and I felt really taken care of. The service was very quick and after he even did a walk thru with me to show me that I might be in need of some shocks in the future. Now a days its hard to find a business that isnt looking to make as much money as possible on you. Honest, friendly, and efficient! Ill definitely be coming back and I will also being telling my friends and family about Don and his team of great mechanics.

Ive been going to Agnew Auto care for many years now as its very close to my work. Don has always been honest and fair in all his dealings with me. Im one to compare prices and verify the extent of work that is actually needed. His prices have always been very reasonable and the work is always done well. Hes done oil changes, brakes, tune ups, and other miscellaneous little fixes over the years and Ive never had a problem. This is why he is so highly rated and has tons of business.

Don is very nice and the service is very reliable. The prices are reasonable, and the auto shop is certified by AAA and other organizations. Go to Don- you wont regret it! Dont be fooled by the cheap-looking exterior- the money they saved by is passed on to the customer.

Awesome service from Agnew Autocare. I came in with a low pressure tire, and the mechanic took a look at it immediately even though he had other cars to work on. Within 15mins the nail was pulled out of the tire and it was repaired for under $20. Very impressed :)

I had my 60K miles service done here. same day. good value at $300 (including transfer case fluid, and engine coolant). The dealer (Jeep) quoted $900, and 2 shops in Mountain View quoted $500. Don is efficient, sends quotes by email. Highly recommended

The best honest mechanic I could ever find in these years... he gave back my part I had purchased from OReilly saying I dont need it cuz it was jus a loose bolt n not any broken part.. simply superb!! recommend him any day.. work is thorough too!!

Had a screw in my tire. They checked to see if it was leaking and explained that if it was the tire would have to be replaced and couldnt be patched. They werent able to replace it, but recommended a couple of places nearby that could.

The air conditioning was not working, took it to Midas no luck. Took to another mechanics no luck. Then I took it to Agnew and the owner took one look and said it is the condenser. He replaced it and it is working great.

Don is amazing, gets work done fast and well! Became committed after a Job that would have taken 10 minutes and cost me $200. Don took me back, showed me how to do it myself for $15 and sent me on my way.
