The test of a companys mettle isnt found when things go right, but rather when things go bad. After today, I found that Five Star Express Car Wash failed on that account. So I went there to go get my car washed and admittedly had no other problems when using the wash previously. I went in today and started getting my texts in order while the car was being washed. All of a sudden - BOOM! My car got hit while in the wash. I was started and trying to figure out what happened when again - BOOM! The car behind me had hit me again. Realizing the problem, I drove out of the wash unfinished to inspect the damage, I wasnt much worse for wear but the guy who hit me pretty much had his front license plate bent. The two of us, admittedly startled and upset, went to the manager to ask for a refund. Rather than say "Hey, sorry about that, heres a refund or complimentary wash" or offer any type of way if saying sorry, the manager on duty assumed no responsibly, blamed us, and said that no refunds were offered. No alternatives were presented, the guy just stonewalled us and was like "Sucks for you." Hope yall enjoyed my business previously because you certainly wont see me there again. Lesson learned.

Im a membership customer who washes my car at least 3 times a week here. Its a good wash but there always seems to be something that requires extra work on my part. Today there was tire treatment around the entire lower portion of my car. Last week grease dropped from the brushes. Sometimes the drying rollers create more mess than help. The vacuums are terrific and they give you access to an air gun to blow water from cracks. The grounds are always clean.

Not all of the drive-thru self serve washes are the same. Five Star Express Car Wash has plenty of bays where you vacuum your car and dry off. Most of the bays are covered which is great in the summer under a hot sun. They have a special sprayer that gets my wire wheels clean so I dont have to spend the time cleaning the brake dust off of them. This review is for the location on Carson Street in Hawaiian Gardens, next to CVS pharmacy.

There machine dinged my rims up and swayed my car from side to side I guess it had a slight glich but they did not want to admit or help me after the machine had ruined my beautiful rims. Its a shame cause its very close to my house but its safe to say I will never go here again and if you have a nice car with nice rims I strongly suggest not taking the chance and go to a hand wash service.

I love this place! Professional service and they actually listen to your requests. The prices are reasonable as well. I like how they pay attention to little details and air the car after its washed. They vacuum it thoroughly as well and the car ends up looking bright and clean! Keep up the good work!
