Im really impressed by these guys. My car recently had some braking issues. I visited 3 shops before coming to SCAC. Each of the shop quoted me roughly $300 worth of work. The reason why I continued searching for the right mechanic is because I wasnt satisfied with the diagnosis of the previous shops. SCAC is the only shop that test drove my car to understand the symptoms and diagnosed it based on their understanding of the problem (as opposed to taking my word for it). Their estimate was roughly $80 and that too I was told wasnt urgent. These guys didnt seem desperate for work. Id go back to them every time and will also recommend this shop to my friends.

Nice people, good serive, and reasonable cost. My brake light on dashboard stays on while driving. I went to SCAC and they directly told me it was probably caused by the lack of brake fluid. They checked and added the brake fluid for me and the brake light went off. When I wanted to pay for this, they said it was a minor problem and was free. This is my second time I visited this garage and the experience is good! I will recommend it to other people.

Excellent! They do just what you need, advise you of upcoming service needs, and they dont overcharge you. Weve been going there for several years with a 13-y.o. Ford and 2-y.o. Hyundai. Ive seen many other makes/mods there. They are knowledgeable, courteous, clean, and friendly. They offer free rides back to work/home after you drop off your car. No negatives. Its hard to find a good car mechanic that has all this... South Coast is a keeper!

FAVORITE AUTO REPAIR SHOP IN CALIFORNIA. My daughter is in college in California and Im in Virginia but I found this place through its wonderful reviews. It deserves every one of them. Honest, smart, fair people. They diagnosed the problem with the car quickly, fixed it that day and charged so little I couldnt believe it. Will definitely being sending my daughter back here for all her car repairs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My wife and I have been very happy with the service and professionalism of the folks at SCAC. Weve been taking our cars here for ≈5 years and we have nothing but praise for the quality of the work, and for the great interactions weve had with Sal and others at SCAC over this period. They would have a well-deserved 5/5 stars if not for the unhappy smog-check guy. Very highly recommended!

Our family has 4 cars that get serviced here. They never try to sell you more than you need. When you go for an oil change they check you whole car to determine if you have any problems that will soon become major problems. If you are looking for a truly honest shop this is the place for you. I have saved money and extended the life of our cars because of this shop.

Ive been taking my BMW and LEXUS to get services and repaired here for the last 4-5 years. Excellent customers services, professional and friendly. Sam, Sal and the rest of the gang are almost on points...and price wise, they only charged me a fraction of the dealers would, even with the factory parts. These guys are awesome.

I have just moved to California, and found this South Coast Auto Clinic close to my office, after reading the reviews on google. My car needed the new brakes and a few clips on the shield under the engine, that was hanging. I was happy with both quality of service as well as price. SCAC is the place to go!
