Spend up to $400 to replace all hoses and pipes (supposely) in the engine cooling system which are hidden behind and below intake mechanism on my 1997 Nissan quest. It is found that 2x angled robber pipes were replaced with straight line pipes which were bent after a couple of month and really affect the flow efficiency. Also, the shop did not replace or notify me the seal leaking on the other two metal tube joints (rusted) which are also part of the engine cooling system till I found the damaged knock sensor ($100) is soaked under flood of cooling liquid in a failed SMOG test. All these parts are hidden under or behind the air intake, no way you can see that till you spend another $300-400 to have other shop tell you this. Complained and shop said it is under warranty.(? month, parts only) another $300 for labor. Why not take care of them honestly at the beginning.
