I just had a 2 month old black car totally repainted by Cooks Collision of El Dorado Hills and they did an incredible job - it had been damaged beyond the ability to buff out the scratches at a car wash. I went to the Mercedes Benz dealer in El Dorado Hills for a recommendation and they confidently recommended Cooks Collision. Cooks is certified by Mercedes Benz for their processes and quality of work. Cooks was also personally recommended by my Farmers agent for their quality along with one other auto body shop. After touring the Cooks facility and seeing their state of the art paint booth and the quality of work on other cars in various stages of repair on their site, I committed to work with them. Kevin and Rodd were both excellent to work with - honest, professional and they both cared about the quality of work being performed on my new car. They also communicated frequently about the status of the repair job. I picked up my car several days ago and I hand washed it last night, so I saw every inch of the work Cooks performed and I have to say - its truly a work of art. Black is extremely difficult to get a flawless finish with and they did it. I honestly believe it is better looking than the factory paint job and that is saying a lot. I strongly recommend Cooks Collision of El Dorado Hills for auto body repair work.

I owe Cooks an apology . I left an unfavorable review based on an estiment given on damage to my vehicle. Although I did recieve a estiment $700 less then theirs, however once I went through my insurance company, they came with the 99% close to the same estiment of Cooks. It appears that although the damage was to the left back quarter panel, the vehicle would require the car to be painted from both sides of the passenger door, all the way to the rear of the trunk. This is needed to get a accurate blending of the pain. So my apology for the unfavorable review

Cooks collision did a fabulous job on my lexus is250 even replaced some parts with new ones, quality is great, but the fact it got done faster than expected was awesome. Dana was the one handling my car and she was updating me like she said she was and making sure my car was good and solid, shes great at what she does explains everything step by step. Makes sure your car is looking great almost brand new if only it was new lol, but i recommend going to cooks and ask for dana she very helpful. Thank you cooks collision.

Poor service. Was promised repair in two weeks but took six weeks to complete. Shop ordered wrong part and didnt know how to install. To make it worse, service advisor often gave incorrect information and didnt follow up with updates. Office difficult to reach because they dont answer phone. After five weeks I asked for rental car, but manager said no. Ive had my car repaired at several collision shops over the years, but will never return here.

Heather is a rockstar and handled my claim like the true professional she is. The repairs were done to the highest standards and the car was ready 3 days before the promised finish date. Personable staff, they totally tag team each other and make things happen to make sure the clients are being processed through...within reason. They suggested I take my car to the dealership for faster same day service. I declined. I really dislike dealing with Folsom Fords Service Dept. Horrible. Had to have my bumper fixed and repainted and came back to a horrible paint job, cracks and cirls marks every where! And recieved 3 new dents that werent there before, (its a 2016) this is unacceptable, save your self time and energy and go some place else. Want to warn others so they dont have to go through the bs im dealing with.

Overall these were really good. at the end I had to wait an hour for my car to get out of detail but I liked the work they did. Also, they didnt set up the rental car as they said they would. But I still liked them.
