First time Spa experience. Went in and once I was on the table, Melissa asked if I had any areas of concern or that I wanted to focus on. I mentioned my Shoulder had been feeling tight, which I assumed was from working at my computer for long periods of time. She felt my back and immediately felt the problem area and identified another that i hadnt even had issues with yet but actually had tighter knots than the area i knew about. My back and body feels so much better and I had a great, relaxing time at Balance Studio Spa. I will be back to try out their other services such as Spa party(!!) and couple massages. Thanks Melissa!

Absolutely amazing! Its prob the best airbnb/homestay I have ever done. Melissa has the most beautiful place in the Redwoods mountains, Santa Cruz. Her house is a haven away from the crazies (love em but gotta leave em) of santa cruz town. She let me use her hot tub in the midst of her patio surrounded by nature. Paradise! At night I was lucky enough to go to the Don Quijote restaurant where they were holding a 50 year Monterey anniversary...here in Felton, half an hour away in the mountains, my California dreaming has come true!!

I love Balance Studio Spa. The place is so serene and inviting. The massages are the best any where! I am a many times, repeat customer, Ive never been disappointed. The location isnt like a city slicker uptight spa, but a relaxed space in the woods. To me that is much more calming. Ive had massages from Melissa and Sarah, both are wonderful and I always feel so much better even in the days that follow. This place is definitely a gem in the woods.

Amazing! The energy, the location, the therapist, everything was lovely. What was also great, we had a group and we were allowed to set up a "potluck" table for all to share. Definitely will visit over and over.
