DO NOT GO HERE…IF YOU WANT TO BE INCONVENIENCED AND HAVE YOUR CARD ABUSED THEN DONT LISTEN..I used this massage spa in aug 2013. It was okay but nothing special. I then had membership debits to my credit card for 2 months and I made it clear I didnt want any membership when I paid for my visit. I managed to remove the extra charges from my bill successfully. I am here on business again fr 5 weeks and have massage on average of once a week They booked me in a 2 hrs massage the next day. I went and they said I never called them back with a credit card. Well I didnt need one when I booked it so I went along as a repeat client and was told sorry. That was at 3 pm. They called me an hour later to say there was an appt available at 9pm. I said I will take it. 20 min later they called to get my card info again and I said no way. After reading of similar situations on yelp and all their fake reviews to countermeasure the damage others have written I decided they were not getting my details. They said they couldnt book it without the card info and I said fine…you have abused a repeat guest, wasted his time an are now holding a gun to his head when he already tried to attend his appointment. There have been similar report of card abuse all over yelp locally and with 6 bored staff members there earlier in the afternoon I am not giving them my details. These people are running the place they want to and losing business for the owners. The owners urgently need to clear these dead wood individuals out and start fresh with hard working people that want to service the clients and offer decent service all round. There are loads of massage spas around the area and I have found a better one than this already and they didnt need a credit card number for the appointment. And I wasnt a repeat customer. Massage envy will not stay in business with so many locations, useless staff and with such policies tied together with bad service. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME THANKS!

Ill start off by saying that my massage was fabulous, but this place is far too sales oriented. I got one massage and liked it but if I wanted another one I have to sign up for a membership that is very expensive and then I still have to pay when I come in for a massage! It just doesnt sound practical at all! I would pay for a membership of the massages were free at any location but that isnt how this works. When I told the gal that the massage was good but honestly I just didnt see the value, she seemed really mad. I just think this is not great business strategy. In her defense, she probably has a quota she needs to meet and I think its up to massage envy to change their model. I didnt hate it but I dont think this business model.

Apparently when you join, not everything in the membership transfers to other places. We joined in Foster City and moved, and lost time we had been promised came with our membership which we were not told about when they insisted the membership was transferable ANYWHERE. We called the Foster City office where we joined and the management declined to fix it. Guess we wont be back!

My massage was a wonderfully intense experience....I work out 4-5 times weekly and wanted a massage therapist that was familiar with doing deep tissue work on a muscular physique. Vic gave me a theraputic massage that provided me with an incredible release to the hip flexor tension that I had been experiencing for two weeks. He is simply wonderful......
