Ill just start off by saying i used to bring my family here often, every time though we dread the loooooooong wait for service and food. Simple 1 course dinner takes us about 2+ hours every time..., because of the wait for service and food. We went here though because it is a restaurant that is never busy..... We usually have the restaurant to ourselves every time we went... If not just us there may be one other table occupied in the entire restaurant. An empty restaurant is a good thing when you bring small kids.... So we thought. My husband felt bad for them and was even thinking about bringing them a bunch of business, which I know they wouldnt be able to handle. They knew us because we constantly went there.... But not any more. Not only do we support local businesses, we like to help them by bringing business. I always leave this restaurant angry because of the rediculously long wait and quality of service. One waiter one time even counted our change wrong and gave us back way too much money! Of course we let him know....but this is just one example of many acts of stupidity and quality of their servers. So getting to the reason why we will never go back. They were doing a Mothers Day brunch, so of course we bring 4 families including us to share this $40 a plate brunch, $20 per child. We have a 5 year old, 3 year old, and a 2 year old. The buffet was terrible....old.... They replaced a few items after we complained...but everything was not fresh, all the flies had gotten to it. The only thing that was ok was the salmon... But again it was cold. My kids literally ate hard cardboard toaster waffles because everything else was so old. We even complained about the waffles because they were hard like wood. Would you pay $20 a kid for eating a hard waffle made in a toaster? So we kindly asked them to remove the kids from the bill (yes all 3 of them including the 2 year old). They said no, brought it to their manager whom we know, she said no. So bam... Bad service,.. Bad food,,, bad customer service.., we will never go again. And charging us $60 for a 5,4, and 2 year old eating 1 hard waffle each? Id rather buy a box of waffles for $5 and feed 5 kids. Im terrible upset how they handled the situation. And to think we were going to help them by promoting their business. Wow... What a horrible way to run a restaurant.

Came here for breakfast. Service was pleasant, but nothing special. Spouse got Chicken fried steak and hot chocolate. Chicken fried steak was delicious, scrambled eggs were solid. Hash browns were mushy underneath but very tasty. I had banana French toast. The concept is interesting but the execution I dont think works. Banana bread was super crumbly and hard to eat except the ages were it was crispy. The sauce syrup thing that comes with it was stone cold and odd tasting. In small doses it works but dont soak your dish in it. My French toast also came out on the cool side while spouses dish was piping hot. They have a lot of other dishes I want to try so def want come back, just not maybe for the my dish.

I went to this restaurant a couple of times. The first time, I ordered their steak dish and it was good. The mango sorbet was ok. Apparently, there was a change of chef during the following month. The second time I went there I was QUITE disappointed. The ratatouille was not seasoned, bland, soupy and the slices of eggplant and squash were undercooked ... The chocolate mousse was a true disaster. Basically cocoa powder with whipped cream ! Hardly any chocolate flavor in it. Very sorry for what happened to this restaurant that I thought was a haven in Folsom ....

We popped in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The bartender, Maddy, and the manager Sam were very service oriented. They have Lagunitas Little Sumpin on tap! We only ordered appetizers, but they were very innovative and delicious (the winglets and ribeye and pineapple skewers). I would recommend as a great alternative to many of the more crowded places in Folsom. Eventually everyone will find out about it and it will be crowded too, but, for now its a sleeper.

Came here with a couple of friends a few weeks ago. It was empty but early as well lol. I got a burger and it was good really big but good. The plate presentation was not expected but when the food was delivered it looked great. The chef even came out to ask us how the food was, something that doesnt happen very often. Only complain i have is the dinning could be updated and get rid of the purple paint, but other than that everything was awesome.

I do not recommend this place at all. The wait was really long for just a one-course meal. The waiter forgot to bring the food to the right table. The glass of water that was brought for me had a lipstick mark on it from previous customers which was disgusting. We talked to the manager and he was rude and didnt even apologize for the unpleasant service.

Came here on Sunday after a long road ride and the owner decided to remain open after closing time to serve us, that was so gracious of him. Great pork pull sandwich, oh and did I mention the large portion of delicious Fries. The bartender here, Cyndee, shes the BEST EVER!! Stop in here, you will not regret it.

Really nice dining experience. Wait staff was attentive and informative. Food was very good. The duck was tender and succulent, and the Kabob Koobideh was the best weve had in the region. Will recommend to friends and family, and will be returning soon.

Apparently they changed to their new seasonal menu. Tried the new York & crab and it was hands down amazing. The presentation was great so was the service. Also tried the saffron ice cream and that was good as well.
