Last night was the 3rd time Ive been to see Meagan D. at Maribou on Sutter. My first visit was persuaded by a groupon or LS or something. One of my good friends was an amazing stylist in the bay area, but since Id moved, Id had no luck in finding anything close to her equal. My friend has since moved to the east coast so Im no longer afraid to say that Megan bested her. I might note, I live practically across the street from the other Maribou in folsom, but I go to Sutter street to see Meagan. I didnt know it was possible, but my color came out better than the last two times (I brought in a celeb pic and she matched it amazingly) I hadnt been there in 6 or more months so she basically had to start from scratch. I also went for a very different cut/style. I would have never dared with any previous stylists (maybe my friend). My results are AWESOME!!!! I look 5 plus years younger. She spent almost 3 hours on my hair. Mind you, I have a ton of long, very fine hair. She highlights and colors it before she cuts (sign of a great stylists) and she is just fun to be around. Oh and her pricing is cheap for the service provided. Thank you Megan!!!

Talked me out of the body wave I wanted for my hair. Even got a second hair dresser to rag on what I wanted. Made me believe my hair would melt off my head since I had it highlighted nearly one year ago to date. I have silky soft strong hair, my hair dresser from Chicago was lives hes a texture specialist and gave it to me straight they just didnt either have the skill or didnt want to do it. So I felt forced to change everything in ask for bangs but not little girl straight bangs even showed her an image and yep she ruined it and gave me the "big bang theory". Added blonde highlights to my already blonde hair that neither I or my husband could tell a difference at all. I look worse and paid $168 for it. Run for the hills from this salon.

Genna was amazing! She did absolutely everything I asked for, I showed her an image of what I was looking for and she did it better than I could have ever imagined. She is very professional and prompt. I would recommend her to all of my friends and family. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel welcome.
