Taylor is amazing! I always leave the salon feeling more confident and more beautiful. I like my hair style to be low maintenance and I choose not to do anything fancy with my hair in terms of color - yet she still gives me an amazing look every time. Ive grown out my hair two times for donation and she has helped me transition from short to long hair styles so flawlessly. Together we are working on my goal for a third hair donation! Ive also come to Taylor with a serious case of post pregnancy hair loss. She adapted my hairstyle to cooperate with all the hair I was losing - amazing. Taylor is the best! The team at Shades is also super friendly and provide excellent customer service! I also love the fact that I can get just a haircut for under $25 and use their fabulous blow dry bar before I leave. I highly recommend Taylor and the Shades team for any hairstyling services!

I had an amazing experience here and I will recommend it to all of my friends. They listen to what you what your hair to be and turn it into an even better version of it. My hair turned out they way I wanted it to be and it was so amazing. The stylists really know what they are doing. My stylist was Garrettson (Im so sorry if I misspelt the name) but he was literally the sweetest person ever. He had full conversations with me and did an amazing job with my hair and didnt make me look like a boy. Im totally in love with Shades Color Bar and Salon and I will continue to come here to get my hair done. Thank you for the amazing job you did, I absolutely love my hair!!!

Ive been to Shades twice so far, and both times Ive been extremely pleased with the results. Paige was the stylist assigned to me, and all I had to do is describe what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I wanted both times. She is also very professional, friendly, adorable, and a pleasure to be around. The pricing is surprising affordable for how professional the stylists are, and my hair is in great condition even after full color jobs with bright highlights. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a salon, especially if you want great color results.

Great service, great staff, and even better prices. Im so picky about who I let cut my hair I waited over two years for a cut despite walking into several salons of all price points during that time. If the attitude of the staff sucks or the place just doesnt vibe right, Im out. Shades Hair Color Bar and Salon throws no shade, just good vibes and the pricing is competitive. This was my first visit to Shades and I was completely satisfied. I scheduled my appointment the evening before and was able to come in early in the morning. I was offered coffee, tea, and water upon arrival. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. Coco was my stylist and she was absolutely incredible. I was trying something new: bangs. This can be terrifying from horror stories Ive heard about bangs but Coco knew exactly what to do and I love them! She also gave helpful styling tips. Overall, my experience here was awesome and I will be coming back!

The environment here is very clean and "upper-class." Walk in and the first thing you will notice is the complimentary water and coffee bar for while you wait. Couches in the lobby are also quite cozy. Staff here are just as good as the environment. Well dressed and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend stopping by to get your hair done.

Shelly cut my hair after cleaning an awful job from another shop that has good reputation. Not only was Shelly very professional, she listened to what I was desiring in a cut but also had some great ideas to update the style. Great customer service. Friendly and courteous. The receptionist was so nice and offered me coffee/water/tea when I walked in. The haircuts are quick and great! Only $25 for my cut and they have a blowdry bar where you can style your hair before you go (at no cost!) This is my go to spot when I need my hair cut. Will come back soon for color and hope to have another great experience

I get my hair done by Lindsey and she is fabulous. Its not easy to match red tones but she always manages to get a seamless look when doing root touch ups on me. I wont go anywhere else. I love Shades Hair Color Bar and Salon. Their "Hoshall" products are amazing as well. Its the only product I trust to keep my color looking fresh.

Super friendly, awesome + skilled staff with a reasonable price tag. Was given a free gift upon my first arrival- Check into yelp and get an additional travel sized gift for free! I cant review their coloring skills, but haircuts are definitely great. They made cutting off 18" of hair a breeeeze. Will be back, for sure!
