Do yourself and your loved ones a favor in this difficult time for your family: dont even THINK about using Accu-Care Cremation Center in Fullerton, CA (or, I would guess, any other Accu-Care site). Now that Im recovering from the horror of dealing with them, I can finally write this review. My mother died last month, 3,000 miles from where I live. I hurriedly selected Accu-Care to handle the cremation. Every single thing they did, they botched. It started with the papers they emailed to me to sign. On her vital statistics form (which the county will use to fill out the death certificate) they managed to get her date of birth not merely wrong, but off by 98 years and actually a date in the future. They also got her place of death completely wrong. On the contract, they used someone elses name, not Moms...no fewer than six times. There were so many other errors I cant really recall them all now. When I sent the papers back, unsigned, and asked them to try again, they never apologized...just sent me new forms. They were quick to demand payment, but slow to provide service. Mom died on January 13 and they picked up the body on the 14th, but they did not actually cremate her until January 25, according to the paper work which accompanied the cremains. When I contacted them by email on the 24th to ask what was happening, they did not reply until I followed up with a phone call and asked to speak to the manager. The manager was at least superficially apologetic, and offered to upgrade me from a plastic urn to "a lovely rosewood box." When the cremains arrived, the lovely rosewood box turned out to be a cheap fiberboard box with pretend wood-grained plastic laminate crudely glued on it. Not a particle of actual wood in it. You could buy a box like this at the Dollar Store for maybe three bucks. What an insult to my mother. In my contract I had ordered, and paid for, five certified copies of the death certificate. They sent me only one. Another email and phone call and another complaint, and they finally sent me four more. Obviously, all of this was the very last thing I needed while trying to deal with the death of my mother. No one in mourning should have to put up with this terrible, uncaring, dishonest service. Please: for your own sake, and for the sake of your loved ones memory, please go somewhere else.

Trying to honor my Fathers wishes not to make a big fuss over his death I looked for a low cost solution for cremation. After rejecting my first choice because I did not care for the attitude of the employees at that place I found Accu-Care on the Internet. I was very pleased by the way Accu-Care treated me. The woman I dealt with was respectful, low-key and informative. She was willing to answer all of my questions and did not try to "up-sell" me on anything. At a difficult time I was grateful and relieved to have chosen Accu-Care.

I am so very pleased with the service and compassion of Accu-Care. They took care of all facets of the very complex family and I never felt "delt with." The staff are professional and understanding.
