My mothers services were beautiful. Just as we had planned. Then came time to order her granite memorial. I spent what I thought was alot over $5000.00 for the monument as it was my last gift to my Mom. I ordered a granite memorial with a white marble angel on it. I was told it was going to be 9-10 weeks. After 20 weeks it finally came, thats when they hit me up for installation fees - never told me it wasnt included in the monument fee. My mothers single plot is 36 inches wide. The memorial they ordered is 64 inches wide. No white angel either. Looks like a slab of granite that was taken to Things Remembered in the mall. Mind you in the additional 10 weeks of wait time. No one called me to tell me about the additional time. If I wanted to hear from Oakdale it was up to me to call. They already got my money, why would they need to call me? They were supposed to reimburse me for the installation fees a week ago. Still nothing posted to my credit card. Called the corporate office a week ago....still no response...left 3 messages. Why would they call back...they already have my money.

How is it possible that on the day my family and I receive tragic news, I contact Oakdale mortuary and provide all the info necessary. The first being that we have a loved one buried there and would like to know if possible to bury his son with him. MARY MACIAS said they researched found the father info and that yes it would be possible. I called more than once just to be sure. I even went in person and again I was told YES by MARY MACIAS. I was being Rushed and informed to set an appointment and when your dealing with so much the last thing you want is a Rude person. Now, three days before everything is set for the Funeral. We are being informed that we can not bury the son with his father. Instead of taking responsibility of this HUGE error you are stating I misunderstood? No, I didnt misunderstand you FAILED to do your job. That is very clear. We need a resolution for this NOW and to abide by the promise set forth by MARY MACIAS.

I had a horrible experience at Oakdale Memorial Park with one of their security guards, I was insulted in front of my mother and daughter while visiting my Grandmother that is buried there since 1992. The security guard question me why and what I was doing there during a catholic celebration and why was I wearing a star of david, I was there visiting on 11/02/13 dia de los muertos, I come from a multi- cultural family and I dont need to advertise my part of jewish heritage. the security guard was rude and ignorant, she acted like a nazi cop. I was planning to buy 2 spaces to be near my love one but after this horrible and unacceptable experience I change my mind. Thanks Oakdale Memorial Park for your Anti-Semitism.

Its very sad and scary to find out and read this comments from this poor people. Just to think about it whats going to happen when I and my spouse die? I will write a letter how and what to do for my children. And with a lawyer. I have a friend that is a lawyer .. Okdale and to think they are good people they will Think of helping you but no! They keep your money and kick you butt out.. of course they dont want to talk to you once they got your cash you are a ghost to them, you dont exist ..

Worst Mortuary Ever.....I have never been treated so bad in my life. The staff is money hungry and have zero (0) compassion for anyone but their pocketbooks. I wanted to run but couldnt my mothers plot was there and my father was already buried there. When it was a family mortuary we were treated so good...now that it is a "chain mortuary" I guess service is not in there new mission statement. Never going to deal with this chain again and will tell all in know to steer clear.

The employees of this mortuary were so kind and thoughtful, I cannot say enough about how they made a very sad and difficult service so much easier. For the Funeral Director to the grounds staff, all very polite and professional. When you are hurting and very sad, a kind word often helps...they had many kind words. Thank you!

i cant really remember everything that happened I was 6 years old seeing mi dad for the last time as I grabbed some dirt and threw it inside as he was being lowered down and as I threw it my soul was gone and my heart turned into ice. it was a nice service. and he got to sleep in a very nice coffin..... I miss him :(

I dealt with Mary and didnt appreciate the service I received at this place Mary just seems money hungry trying to rush appointments shes unprofessional in my opinion doesnt really inform you right with information wish I didnt bury mom here

My mothers services were very nice and when they did my fathers they were so disorgainized and what we had paid for was all wrong considering we are grieveing they should have done a better job in helping us honor the memory of my father
