I want to complement 24 Hour Fitness for having such a friendly and helpful staff. I am always greeted and feel so welcomed by Lori, Jasmine and Melissa. I also want to mention how this facility is always clean and the equipment is kept in good working order. But what really encouraged me to write was the way the trainer, Tracy, brought me under her wing, We always chat when we see each other, and when she passes by she will correct my form or give me pointers. The other day I was on the treadmill and happen to mention that I had hurt my lower back. She immediately offer to stretch my back for about 15 minutes before her next appointment and suggested heat-cold-heat compresses, and that I stretch more at home. This really helped. So I am giving "Kudos!" to Tracy and a "High Five!" to Lori, Jasmine and Melissa, too. Thank you, Jan Terra

Been going to 24 hour off and on for almost 4 years. For what you pay for as a member this place is redicilously over priced. I payed $27 a month for the sport complex and was charged annually $50 on top of that. I recently canceled my membership to sign up for a gym with a more reasonable deal and couldnt even get my $50 dollars back that was charged to me a week ago. Honestly with so many more gyms in competition I dont know how this place runs, nothing they have is nice enough to account for what you pay for. I recommend researching the local gym options.

I went there to join and met with the manager. At the end of completing the paperwork, I was presented with an opportunity to purchase a set of one on one training sessions for several hundred dollars—declined. On meeting with a trainer to start using the equipment and get me orientated to a workout routine, the trainer did a poor orientation and after an hour, offered me another special for $1,700—declined. I believe the staff are only interested in selling services and not serving the membership—very sad!

Im a member, have been for over 10 years. I have my membership at the supper sport in Folsom. The Rancho one pisses me off. They do not keep good maintenance on the spa and everything else the spa is either dirty as hell or just plain broken. I love to relax after a good work out. I know its in the ghetto but they still charge as much as every other gym. I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone. Ill drive from gold river to Folsom. Or maybe just switch gyms.

I am not certain why this club has gotten negative reviews, but I find it clean and well-stocked. The clients tend to keep the weights in order and re-rack kindly. The only issues that I have had is mildly cold water in the showers (this is a recent issue and I think its being fixed today) and I once had a couple credit cards stolen from my locker. My advice is to leave anything valuable at home. Otherwise, great gym and great staff.

While the customer service is great and they have a lot of equipment, its not enough to keep me from looking for another gym. During the summer, the building is way too hot and even if I drink a lot of water I feel like Im going to pass out. Are you really that poor that you cant afford to keep the temperature under 80 degrees? Also, the smell of chlorine is so overpowering at times it feels like its taking years off of my life.

I have been a member here for over 10 years after i got married my husband joined too! This place is huge and i like that i never have to wait for a machine. It has my favorite equipment and the staff is really great too! I have lost over 50 lbs with having a low carb diet and working out!

Jacuzzi is dirty and room temperature. Sauna drain does not work and that makes it stink. They shut off steam room and sauna at 12am , but it says 24hr fitness . Most of the stair master machines and treadmills are broken . I hope management will do something .

Sign on the door. "Wet is closed for maintenance until August 21.....". So I had to go all the way down there for nothing. 24 is very poor at keeping members informed. If they had put it on the website, I wouldnt mind. I know maintenance happens!

Active Recovery Fitness Center

The facility is good in size but there always seems to be at least a couple pieces of equipment broken. The roof leaks when it rains. The staff is very friendly though as well as most of the members.

None of the equipment is bolted down it doesnt seem safe. There has also been a large number of Eastern Europeans whacking each other with branches in the sauna recently...not sure what thats about.

Nice gym with pretty well maintained equipment, the only reason why I gave it your stars is I would like to see a turf with a sled, like some other gyms in the area have.

The kids club is the best in town and the staff is super good with the kids. They are contantly sanitizing the area and as a parent I really appreciate that.

The basketball court has been closed for months. There always seems to be machines that are broken. There isnt enough squat racks to accommodate the demand.
