If I could I would rate this place less than poor! Long story short, they do not have their act together. I was told the account I had with them as closed as of June 2012 which I did not close yet they said it had been cancelled. Was not charged for them from July 2012 - January 2013. Feb. 2013 I started getting billed again from them, and was billed again March 2013 so I contacted them. When I went in, I was given grief. I contacted corp. office and was told pretty much that it was all my fault and no credit back for the 2 months they charged me. I was then told I would not be charged again, and well I was charged AGAIN in April. This led me to have to contact them yet AGAIN! The only thing they said I would get a credit back for is for the ONE month I already paid for and thats going to take up to 90 days. RUN away from this place. DO NOT join Fitness Unlimited / Fit U / Fitness Evolution! Planet Fitness is WAY better and has their act together.

should have listened to the reviews......first day first disappointment...signed up today...so I went down this evening.....got on the treadmill....set it up and went to start it and noticed that the hand sensor was missing....ugh....that in it of it self no big thing....did my work outs...went to use the tanning booth....the control looked like it was falling off the unit....there were screws on the chair....so I went to the front desk...and asked what was the deal...they indicated that it was broke......da...would have been nice to put a notice on the door.....and that is what I told them...went back to the tanning booth....to get my stuff....and leave...and I noticed the staff up at the front desk...chatting ...I indicated that why didnt someone go and post a ;notice...the reply was classic..they were waitng to get it laminated......seems like a big mistake on my part.......

I wanted a cheap gym for 3 months so I thought this was the gym. They told me when signed up, no contract, I could pay for my three months in advance and then when it was up I wouldnt have to cancel or give notice or anything, just stop paying. Well three months went by, I was automatically charged for the 4th month on my card (they didnt tell me it was staying on file when I prepaid months 1-3) plus a $5 fee which was unknown to me. Everytime I call or try to go in the manager is not there so I cannot yet cancel and now I learned that to cancel I must still pay an extra month of dues (5 months paid when I only needed 3?!) In addition to this, there was been broken equipment and lack of paper towels for the past 3 months and doesnt look like that will be changing soon.

The staff is mostly friendly. The customers are friendly, most of the other members. I dont like that it is hot in there and the staff told me the part is on order. I think that is a lie. Its been two weeks and it still isnt fixed. The amenities are good for the price I think. We will see how things progress. I signed up a friend to go to help me with my workouts and now that I am getting results I will cancel her membership. If there is any problem with that I will write another review. At this time I am Satisfied with the services they provide and feel it is a good value.

Been coming here two years. Recently theres been a real lack of responsibility of employees to actually showing up to work. Last two saturdays in a row the employee responsible for opening the gym at 7 A.M. has not shown up. I left today, Sat 8/26/2017 at 7:20 A.M. when still no one had shown up. Just unacceptable. I do not pay a monthly fee so that i can show up and not be able to workout before i have to go to work. I can understand it happening once, but multiple times and even days in a row is messed up. Ill be looking to get back my monthly fee this month.

Horrible place. Tried to take my son in as a guest to see if it would be something he would like and the front desk told me that anyone under 18 could not go in as a guest. They then said that anyone over 14 could get their own membership and go in without an adult. Am I missing something here? Yes i am. Its all about the money for these people. No customer service. It would have been nice if they worked with me about the confusion. Now they lost 1 member and a future member. STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Im 18 and Ive been going to this gym for quite awhile now and I just wanted to say that it is a decent gym, coming from a fitness background. The staff is friendly and most of the other customers are also friendly. I get my work done everyday without any problems. I cant complain with the hours, when it comes to the gyms sanitation it is always clean and welcoming for others to enjoy themselves and to have a great workout.

DONT SIGN UP!!!! YOU CANT GET THEM TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP. i called to cancel, told cant do that over the phone, you have to come in. Went in on a Saturday, told cant do that on the weekend only M-F 10 am - 6 pm (conveniently when most folks are at work). Funny, you can sign me up and take my money on the weekend but I cant cancel on the weekend, THATS BS. nice customer service you POS.

Beware! DO NOT waste your time with this place. They have been charging our account even after we cancelled our membership. You can only reach them through email. Their service is poor and their attitude is "prove it". Bad bad bad company. They are thieves and somewhat proud of it. Warning people on every site possible. Hit THEM where it hurts. Go to another gym.

Consumers beware! The employees are very rude to the costumers, even the manager. they scam my family to join the membership with $100 cancellation. they do not care if you bring your own lawyer regarding this matter too. so beware with their false promises.

I love this gym, great people and trainers and this location and Carmichael. Lots of space and convenient classes. Offers everything I needed for a much smaller price. My son loves coming here as well he cant get out of the car fast enough.

Friendly atmosphere and decent equipment. They try to be cool by cranking the music up way too loud. Most people listen to their own music, so its just annoying. Someone has to ask them to turn down the music almost every day.

Very low membership cost, but sometimes messy, and broken machines seem to take a while to be repaired.
