TL;DR - I enjoy Kaia and I think its a great, dedicated group of girls getting fit. But its pricey and theres less equipment use than I expected. Im still continuing though because Natalie really teaches you the PROPER way to workout without injury and the workouts are super fun! Honestly I was really skeptical of the whole Kaia Fit program because I didnt feel like the price justified the motivation it would give me to workout vs me just getting off my butt and going to the gym alone, plus I was unsure of how intense the workouts would really be, but I had a friend who was involved in the Sacramento Kaia group and I WASNT gymming on my own so I really didnt have much to lose - so I purchased a Groupon and joined the Kaia group in Granite Bay! I had to get in touch with Natalie to schedule my time slot before going to a class, she has five available times and they meet Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday every week. Those times are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9:15 and 6pm and on Saturdays they all meet together at 7am for a "power hour." I chose the 9:15am slot at first (Ive since moved to 6pm) and went to my first class not really knowing what to expect. The location is actually kind of interesting to me, its just a single room with a few TRX machines, blocks, and tons of motivational messages. I was kind of expecting more pizzazz or equipment besides a yoga mat and weights. Then the workout started and I totally changed my mind! Natalie drives you through a ton of muscle confusion workouts that are ACTUALLY FUN and STIMULATING. I swear Ive been to a ton of classes at the nearby gyms (Lifetime and Broadstone) and I never really had "fun" doing the workouts. Even zumba wasnt too great because the music choices werent my favorite. Natalie picks good, pump up music and all the Kaia girls really keep you motivated to push through. I hadnt been working out for awhile and I wasnt sure if I could keep up the pace during the boot camp style classes - but theres three levels of every type of workout, the "balance" level for those needing just to get their bodies moving, the "strength" for those trying to push it a little more, and then the "Kaia" level for those at the highest fitness level. Ill try to update with a more concrete example of what I mean but Id just say there are ladies of all different fitness levels there and theyre all really supportive and at the end of every workout were all pretty tired too. So my worry about not getting a good enough workout was definitely unfounded in the end! OH AND MOST IMPORTANTLY. Natalie teaches you how to workout PROPERLY and adds little snippets of great life lessons and fit tips without WASTING TIME. Like every time theres a list of workouts to do, shell demonstrate the proper form for them and then well jump into it. But I super appreciate it because I never really think about the proper positioning during planks and how to hold my head during a crunch - and now I dont really have to put in the extra effort TO think about it because Natalies saying it without some long speech that wastes half my workout time. So we jump into the workouts and at the very end Natalie will talk about what to focus on this week whether it be glutes or eating well. And I SUPER appreciate that because it doesnt take me out of "workout mode" when Im in it. Its my fifth week of Kaia and Ive bought the VIP membership for $119 for 16 classes a month, which to me still feels a little pricey at $7.43 a class IF you go to all four classes a week at the designated time slots. So I guess for those of you reading this trying to decide whether to buy immediately or not, try it out and see if its for you. I thought it was worth it but I think it really depends on your goals and fitness level, but on the bright side, its free to try and it might change your life like it has for some of the girls. Well see in time for me!

Kaia FIT Granite Bay is my gym home. Ive never been athletic and was hesitant to join a gym, but Coach Natalie has the workouts set up for all levels of fitness. The workouts can be intense, but you have to tackle them at your own pace. Natalie is always available to help you out with form, and to offer modifications if you are experiencing pain or resistance. The workouts change each day, so one day could be more arm-intensive, and the next would be a more leg-intensive. Signing up for the Kove at the start of a session will include a manual which will include recipes and fitness tips to guide you toward your goals-- in health and in life, as they go hand in hand. Ive been at kaia for 6 months and I cant picture my days without my workouts at the Kove.

I recently completed a six week BRIK bootcamp with Kaia Fit Granite Bay. Not only do the workouts produce results quickly but the Kaia Kove is a supportive environment. Women of all levels of fitness come together and support one another in their goals. No matter your current fitness level, there is a challenging workout (exercises have 3 options) - balance, strength and Kaia - to get you there. I love the simplicity of the workouts and the nutrition plan is highly effective if you choose to follow it. No gimmicks. The welcoming atmosphere is nurtured by owner Coach Natalie and fabulous Coach Heather and Coach Kelly. I cant wait to return to Kaia!

I have tried several different bootcamps in the area and finally found one worth sticking with. Kaia Fit Granite Bay is a great workout offering modifications for every fitness level. More importantly for me, there is a focus on nutritional which has always been my struggle. The positivity of all the women is so uplifting. I have never once felt embarrassed or discouraged while in class. It’s my one hour of “me” time and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
