Zippy Shell... not so zippy. The pickup in L.A. was great, then it went downhill pretty fast. I called my "move concierge" as planned to set the delivery date in Portland and at the set date and time my husband, mother and I went to her new home to meet our zippy shell. They didnt show... we waited, no one called. I frantically tried to reach my concierge-located in FL. When he called me back, he apologized that the shell hadnt arrived in Portland three days previously as they thought, and that they couldnt locate the driver. It took another three days to find out that the driver had broken down in NV and was waiting for a part. At least we knew that our belongings werent lost! We waited another couple of days and rescheduled delivery when the truck was fixed. This time wasnt not so advantageous- a week night after work instead of a Saturday when we could comfortably help my elderly mom move in. On the newly scheduled day of delivery, the local "partner" changed the delivery hour three times- all later into the evening. Again, we arrived to meet our zippy shell, and quickly had a sinking deju-vu feeling when it didnt show. Again, we made anxious calls to the move concierge and our local delivery company as we waited two and a half more hours. When finally the local dispatcher said the truck was leaving - I happened to catch him sending our zippy shell to a wrong address! We were passed off to the local partner who wedged us into their schedule- the movers arrived after already working full days- exhausted. My husband and I both helped the movers carry our belongings in- and our move was finally finished at 10:30pm.

Its the Midst of Chaos in any Move. Zippy Shell, owner Dean and his team including Dennis, were Fantastic and made everything on my end Hassle Free. 3 months ago, they delivered a trailer to my house. I packed it. They picked it up and put it into storage. 2 Months later, I needed to grab one item from the storage pod, I went to their facility, they unpacked it, found the item and then repacked it. Just 2 days ago, I moved into my New Home. They delivered the Pod, Unpacked it, even walked my Oversize Couch up 3 stairs (after not fitting in the lift). They put my bed together, and even offered to return to put my dining table together after I find the Screws. Never have I ever experienced Such Professionalism as well as Expertise and Knowledge in a move and Dean indicated to me what things should be considered in packing and unpacking as well as finances. I Recommend this Company and Deans services to anyone looking for Storage Solutions and going through a Moving process. They made everything look seamless, even under how stressful and hot the weather was. Thank You Dean and Zippy Shell!

Great Service and Very Responsive! We needed a short term storage solution for a probate listing and Dean Moss at Zippy Shell assisted my client with picking up and storing a 350 gallon salt water fish tank and accessories for two months. We sold the accessories within a month and Dean allowed the buyer to pick them up at his local warehouse and we just recently sold the fish tank and Zippy Shell delivered it to North Hills for the buyer! My client closed out their storage account immediately after the fish tank was sold and this saved us time and money compared to other storage pod companies! I definitely recommend Zippy Shell to other Realtors or anyone in need of long or short term storage, especially if you need to de-clutter and have access to your personal items locally!
