I went here because my neighbor knows Mike Sullivan and he owns the dealership where I purchased my car at Subaru Pacific. I could not have been more let down by this unprofessional, costly, and ridiculously long experience. Edvard was taking care of my vehicle. Dropped the car off in early September, Edvard said that he used to work for my insurance agency, Alliance who might not be the best insurance agency and sometimes things take time with them. I said I understood and left. For TWO MONTHS my car was just sitting there at the shop while they did god knows what with my estimates and the insurance company. Apparently Edvard couldnt contact my insurance advisor for two weeks. Not only that but it wasnt even him doing the work he said he had his "assistant try calling her 6 times". This doesnt show appropriate effort after my cars been there for 2 months sitting there. Finally after my insurance paid in full what they owed, Edvard was still failing to do anything because even though that had 100% of the money he needed an estimate approval. So I HAD TO CONTACT THEM MYSELF which by the way was a quick email to my advisor and bring the approval that they already sent and Edvard probably lost IN PERSON to him to get him to START repairs on my car. This was at the end of November. Ive never heard of such unprofessional treatment as to have your customer DO YOUR JOB FOR YOU. They then took 2 MORE MONTHS to finish my repairs. Wrong parts were even ordered after theyd had my car for so long. Even after the car was finished in January he wouldnt release it to me until I demanded to speak to Susana. Susana was helpful in getting things moving however when complaining there wasnt much empathy or admission of their fault at LA Car Guy. She did get things done for me and I appreciate that. NEVER would I EVER bring a car here for repairs. They take their time and take advantage of their customers, and are unprofessional in the way that they show no effort in getting things done. My car rental bills exceeded 2,000 of which my insurance of course will not pay completely. Not only that but my hood doesnt shut quite right. I went back once to get it taken care of and they didnt do it right. No level of perfectionism from them. Also my BATTERY HAD A BAD CELL after the 4 months of sitting there collecting dust. The car was damaged to begin with but STILL DRIVEABLE. I have no idea why I dropped it off at LA Car Guy.

Wish I wouldve done my due diligence and research before handing my car over to these incompetent dyslexics. I was in such shock after my car accident I wasnt thinking clearly. I dont have time right now to get into much detail and include pictures. I will Monday afternoon. For now and long story short, the body shop painted parts of the car that were not scratched or dented in the accident. Since I got the car back that paint has washed off – faded. The alignment is a mess. The car pulls to the right. Roll the driver window down a quarter, third, half, part way down and youll hear A loud creaking noise. The creek comes with a subtle vibration. Unnerving. I fear that Im driving a deathtrap. In summation they tended to items that did not need work and neglected others. Better than my gripe about the paint and alignment, the body shop manager tried to shame me when I told her I would write a review. In her most recent email she says "no need for threats on social media". Theres nothing threatening about the facts in this review. The car was in their shop for 39 days and have proven to me that they are not capable repair people. I wish I would have read the similar such reviews before submitting myself to this waste of time. Monday morning Im going elsewhere to get three estimates for paint and alignment.

My experience with this company is very disappointing. I drop my car off on a monday and picked up a rental the same day. I walked out with their estimator and went over damages. He then told me he will have the estimate ready and notify me and insurance company. It too them till Friday to call me and tell me how much the cost was and that he ordered the parts. Two weeks past by and no word from their office, I contacted my insurance company as now Im one week away from my thirty days of my rental is up. The insurance company contacted the car guy/elis collosion, they told her my parts were on back order and they just came in. I was so upset as I would have kept my car till the parts came in if they were upfront and honest, they then proceed to constantly keep me informed of the status of the painting, posing and now assembly, of my damaged doors. IT IS NOW 36 DAYS IN THEIR SHOP AND 6 DAYS OUT OF POCKET. DO THE MATH. I will not refer anyone to this company. Im still waiting for a call

My experience with this place would be 0 stars i would not recommend anyone to take their car here. The people at the front desk are nice Ill give them that. One of the problems is that lady said she will call me if anything changes on my estimated day, no call or email from the office. Im expecting my car to be ready by the date they provide it to be ready by. No word from them. Ive called 3 times and they stated that my car should be ready by the estimate date . I called the day before pick up and they stated It wont be ready for another week. Was anyone going to notify me regarding the date set back. My insurance also contacted me stating that they have been trying to get in contact with Eli Collision Repairs and they havent received a call back or any other information. I believe that its unprofessional to not keep in contact with your customers and not updating them on any changes. If you take your car here, dont expect to get it back any time soon.

Brought my Audi here because they were one of the few Audi-certified body shops in LA. They did an exceptional job repairing the car completely and with genuine parts, even when my insurance company was trying to get them to do it on the cheap instead. Ive been driving it for 2 years since then with no problems at all. My insurance company did not want to replace a damaged wheel, but the experts at LA Car Guy were able to point to the Audi requirements for proper repair that mandated it. There was a similar back-and-forth about other replacements and repairs, and they always pushed to have the job done right. I think their Audi certification helped them to argue with authority for doing the job right. I just got rear-ended and will be bringing my car here again because I know they will do the repairs properly rather than just cutting deals with my insurance company.

Brought my wifes Lexus here after being referred by a friend. Car was hit very bad in the rear and up one side. Personally, I didnt think it could be fixed, or if it could that Id want to sell the car since itd have obvious damage in the door sills and trunk. These guys not only got it back quicker than expected, but I cant find any evidence it was hit - even in the corners of the trunk! Its been a few months and the paint still looks great - and I hand wash and wax every couple weeks ad theres no overspray or color change - car looks brand new! I hope she never gets in a crash again, but I know where to take/refer any cars - LA Car Guy!
