The Worst Body shop and Customer Service. My Car was in their shop for 3 weeks waiting on a bumper (kia across the street from there had in stock since day 1) but I let that go. No Communication from anyone at shop, only time we communicated is when I would call or drive to them. Finally got my Car back with a new bumper and repaired quarter panel and thats when stuff starts heading south! My new freshly painted bumper had a big scratch, bumper not aligned properly, paint build up on my door (Chris, service writer said they never worked on the door only bumper and quarter panel yet the Service Order said otherwise) and when I went to put my wheel lock away that they left thrown in there, I found my bumper retainers from the inside broken, all the broken pieces still inside, not replaced . 0 quality control, obviously technician doesnt care. Advised Chris about issues we made an appointment for a week later to drop off my car in the Morning and will be repaired by the end of the Day. 1 Week Later I go to take it in and Per Chris it was too much work for and they would rather not me drop my car off that day (it was the end of the Month and they had already collected my money so I guess I go to the back of the line). Fine I waited another week to drop it off. I dropped it off at opening and Chris said he would call me by lunch time when the car would be ready. 1pm passed, 2pm passed no call. Close to 4PM still no call, again I had to call and find out what is happening and ofcourse my car would not be ready today. I explained I needed a car to travel to and from work and he mentioned there was a rental car place nearby, which I mention to him they need to cover it not I. They did pay for the 1 Day rental. Less than 1 Month after repairs, I noticed a trim above the window was coming loose, I checked the Repair order and indeed they removed and re-installed that molding. I call Chris up and he said bring it down no problem we will fix it. I take My car Down there, after they take my car inside the shop they brought it back and said they need to order some parts and they would call me back when parts are in. 1 week later I called and Left a message for Chris, of course no call back. 1.5 weeks later call again, another message left no call back. Now I call My insurance (state farm) and they said they would contact them. After 1 Hour of my call with the insurance I got an Email from Chris (again no call but at least an email) saying they will not cover the repair because the molding was not like that when it left the shop. I must have damaged it when I washed my car, Chris explained to me. They have a "Lifetime Warranty" yet they wont fix something after a Month? Its sad and pathetic. Its a $40-50 part but they would rather lose a customer and get blasted online then to take care of a simple repair. Sad and bad business.

3.5 Stars. If you are like me, seeing your car wrecked is heartbreaking. So, I would imagine that most people are not in a good mood when entering this shop. Lucky or Unlucky for me I had a chance to use Caliber Collision for my body shop. Unless you are a crazy driver, chances are you dont go to a body shop by choice :(. I managed to get rear Ended twice in the same month! After the horrible accident experience and the cheap alligator insurance agents, Caliber was a nice breath of free air. First Experience: Ive heard many good things about Caliber Collision about great rates and fast service. When I worked with rental cars previously, a lot of customers had good things to say. Travelers Insurance picked this shop for me. My bumper was estimated to take about 3 to 4 days. I expected a week or more. Lucky for me it only took 3 days. The paint job was excellent. I had a feeling that Caliber was focusing more on speed than quality. I was satisfied, but I felt the process was a bit rushed. The service rep was very friendly and explain the process to me when I first dropped my car off. He called me the next day to tell me the estimate. The only thing was he never called me when the car was done. I had to call. Blah! (3 star) Second Experience (I choose): One day after getting my car back. I was so thrilled to get rid of the smoke smelling rental car. I was admiring how my bumper looked as good as when I purchased my car. Driving home from work. BAM BAM!!! Another bastard, I mean person, rear ended me again almost the same way and in the same location. I know my luck right? The second service adviser was a lot more calm and took his time with me. A totally difference experience. This repair took about 8 days.He took the time to explain what damage he saw and offered to check the alignment of the car, because of possible damage underneath. The first adviser was not as thorough. All State was a thousand times better!!! The insurance agent was easy to deal with and the service rep at caliber gave much better service. (4 star) I do recommend Caliber Collision if you are unsure what body shop to choose in the Irvine area. Just pray you dont get hit by someone with cheap insurance. I like that Caliber Collision has a lifetime guarantee. *Side Note* The other review before mine was probably smoking crack. It sounds like he expected too much. Sounds like the problem was resolved. Factory paint is not easy to match. I guess Im more understanding.

Had a small area worked on a new car from a minor fence bender accident. The lower rear quarter panel. Paint started cracking one month later. Took it back, to them, they said something must have hit it, its not faulty work. Which is total bs, nothing hit the car there. There is no scratch, or mark from anything touching the car, just the paint bubbling up. Will be filling a bbb complaint. They would not fix it. Very unhappy customer. Never going back, manager didnt care. Its tiny spot, would not be super expensive to fix.

Excellent customer service!! Came in to get an insurance estimate. The whole process took 30 minutes tops. Checked in, met with the R.J. Class act gentleman. R.J, is professional as it gets. Dont take my word for it, go give them a shot. They will take good care of your car and you. Make you feel welcomed, and treated with respect. They won my loyalty.

Great service. Dropped my BMW 640 for a rear bumper repair. Jose was really nice and took care of everything. Will come again if service is needed.
