Im so happy I found Valente Hair & Co! After finding them on Instagram, I was instantly intrigued by their use of color and knowledge of balayages. I had always wanted to get one but was afraid since I have fine, delicate hair. I thought bleach might burn it off! However, they treated my hair like a queen! My subtle, caramel balayage looks seamless and gorgeous. I loved the attention to detail in my styling as well. I left feeling like a million bucks! They truly are blonding specialists. I really appreciated the modern and luxurious decor. I felt like VIP guest walking in. I can tell the owner put a lot of love into the design and overall experience of the salon. I also really appreciated the atmosphere: all the stylists were in a great mood! Plus I was greeted warmly and offered champagne! How can you beat that? I will definitely be coming to Valente for all my hair needs. They are definitely the best La Jolla salon!

OH MY BLONDE!!!!! I had been progressively going blonde over the course of the last year, but hadnt quite been able to achieve that Khole K. kinda blonde id been lusting over. I took a chance and booked with Kerri and boy does she know her blonde! She listened to what I liked, didnt like, and what I wanted. Gave me her expert opinion. Turns out she had worked the last 5 or so years as an educator in her former Salon back in Dallas!!! I felt immediately at ease and assured I would walk out loving my hair! I was absolutely blown away how well she took care of my hair. NO cotton candy hair here! My hairs is soft, smooth, and in great condition. And the color is to die for <3 officially ready for summer! Thank you so much Kerri! As for the salon the decor was very chic! Black and white! Lots of selfie mirrors! Very clean! Friendly staff! And a lovely refreshment bar! Mmmm champagne!!! Cant wait for my next appointment!

Valente Hair & Co saved my hair. My hair was a mess! I was so ashamed of my hair and was really hesitant to come into a salon. But all the amazing reviews on Yelp convinced me otherwise. Plus the luxurious, Italian inspired decor won my heart. The girls at the front greeted me kindly and my stylist took care of me right away. I needed a good cut and color correction. I went from wanting to put my hair in a ponytail everyday to feeling like showing off my hair! I decided to get a layered bob with natural, sun kissed looking highlights My cut was flawless and the color left me speechless. It also felt absolutely soft and full of life. I’ve never had a men’s cut done at a professional salon before but I’m sure I’ll never go anywhere else. Victoria was thorough and kind the entire visit. I came in on a Saturday and was offered great champagne. The salon was very busy but I didn’t feel left out. Victoria also gave me a hot towel treatment which really sealed the deal for me. I had never had a ‘fade’ before, my hair grows fast so I never thought about it, but I really like this style. There’s nothing better than a stylist who makes you feel confident. Thank you Victoria at Valente for being so professional.

Valente is the best La Jolla salon for a balayage! I’ve had my hair done by various stylists over the years in San Diego but Keri has won my heart! Her color technique and attention to detail is impeccable. My blonde balayage looks so natural and my hair is super soft. I felt completely pampered my whole visit with her. She is super professional yet has a great sense of humor. Plus the decor of the salon is very inviting. I had a great time at my visit. Location is new but they have very experienced hairdressers who have been in La Jolla for many years. They always listen to me and take the time to talk to me before touching my hair. I like to have a different hair cut and style ever so often and they always give me exactly what I ask for. I also love the hair products they carry---beautiful. The location is spotless clean too and thats very important to me. The front desk gal, Caprice, is very attentive and personable. I will probably never go any place else.

I was sick and tired of going to my local barbershop to get a $15 haircut every two weeks, I thought my hair deserved much better than that. A coworker said he had been going to this La Jolla hair salon and loved the treatment and styling he received. I decided to give them a try. I scheduled a mens haircut with Victoria and she was fabulous. It was like a night and day difference from my regular barbershop. I love my new haircut. I will be coming back to Victoria from now on. I definitely recommend Valente Hair Salon in La Jolla! The treatment and pampering I receive here is the best I have ever seen. I am offered a drink the second I walk through the door and they even have snacks if you are hungry. Val Kaye does amazing Balayage and colors! Ive found my new Colorist in La Jolla and Im excited about it! The experience was amazing! I found parking immediately & Im definitely making this hair salon my go to salon! Thanks so much.

I have never cared much about my hair but we were getting our engagement pictures taken so she refused to let me go to my regular barbershop. From a guys perspective, this salon is actually pretty cool! Ella does an amazing mens cut. She gives a great scalp massage and hot towel treatment. Her mens haircuts are on point! I had a cup of hot apple cider and an apple danish with my haircut. They really know the way to a mans heart is through his tummy! The owner greeted me and asked how my service was! Excellent service worth every penny!
