This place has become a joke. I expressed some of my displeasure with the boss Jen who did not have much interest in solving the problems, but rather telling me that I should look elsewhere if I cannot handle the fact that I am not getting what I pay for. Customer complaints and feedback fall on deaf ears and nothing gets resolved with any efficiency or timeliness. It took over two years to get the floor in the weight room redone and now they allowed the roof to leak so long that several tiles came down during the last storm. The basketball court, which is almost NEVER open to members, is one step above unplayable condition due to the lack of upkeep and tremendous amount of dirt, dust and other debris on it. Bottom line is that if you do not have a family with children participating in activities here this is not a place for you. Staff and attitudes like what I have encountered are the reason why the YMCA is going downhill quick. 3/19 update- After my above post was read I was promptly contacted by management (Jen) who encouraged me to modify this post. I made it clear that if the needed changes took place I was would do so. Once Jen and Bill realized that they actually had to do their job(s) they opted to terminate my membership rather then dealing with the ongoing negligence of customer service and the facility. Moral of this story is pretty simple and that is if you do not have a family stay away from this place. LA Fitness is less then half the monthly membership charge with longer hours and employees who value the customers. Only took me one workout over there to figure that out.

Horrible Preschool-School Age Athletics. We have tried for a few years to engage with their programs. It has been mediocre but we continued on for sake of location and cost. Big Mistake. The last four months my 5 year old has been in their basketball program. It was horrible to say the least. Ryan, the supposed Sports Director taught a weekly class for 3-5 year olds. So not worth $80.00 a month. When you think a child should be learning in a safe place...think again. Imagine this...kids who bully each other with no parents around and Ryan allowing it and doing nothing...wait...once he got hit and he said..."next time.. " Hard to watch a grown man, the big director, allow one bully Hudson to beat up sweet children each week because he doesnt care. Not to mention the parents on their cell phones who dont care whats going on. YMCA values...they dont care. Welcome to OC.

This a real nice gym hidden behind the park. It shares its pool with the city of Laguna Niguel. It has a nice path that leads to Laguna Niguel lake. Reggie is usually at the desk in the evenings and if you become a regular he greats you by name. I do t know how he remembers everyone but what awesome customer service. Hot coffee for free in the mornings! I usually get my but kicked by Fabiola at the spin class. She has a great smile especially when she knows your sweating up a storm and then she yells out "Add" . She creates a great ambiance with her mini DJ lights and her music . She kills me in class but love her to death for getting me into shape. They just got a new machines tons of cardio machines and a free weights room downstairs.

it is so gross it is laughable. I didnt think it would be top of the line, but it is sad. They could at least throw some paint on the walls. Missing paint everywhere. just foul! I dont understand where the $73 a month money goes. Thats how bad it is, I cant of think of anything it goes to. The kids area is sad. The locker rooms are so ugly and out dated. They dont even seem clean and it is just sad. All of it, sad. The outside areas are nice. The inside IS GROSS.

The equipment is relatively new and in good shape. Its clean and the instructors are fantastic. There is a nice, friendly vibe here, unlike most other meat-market gyms which reak of stinky man-sweat and hormones. Its a great Y, and a great gym. $45 a month for unlimited everything from free weights to Zumba classes to yoga and swimming is a great deal. Great for families and single people alike.

I love this gym! The staff is super friendly, the weight room is huge and theres a ton of equipment. The staff in the kid zone are great. My oldest had a hard time at first and the staff made her comfortable and now she loves going there.

So many things to do at the YMCA - pool, aerobics, weights. But they have more included with a membership. Indoor rockclimbing, New Kids Zone, free kids classes. Great for all ages!
