I LOVED Lifetime initially because of the location, amenities and Business Model. However, over time, the Brand that I was once sold on has been depreciating. I continue my membership here out of sheer convenience of location (Minutes away from Home and Work). Overall - The Lifetime Facility has great amenities but their accountability lacks. They will sell you an upscale level of service but once you sign, youre in for a different experience. I recently was a victim of theft - reported it and the outcome was going through a claims process; which ended up being denied because the Assumption of Risk Clause in the Member Contract. An employee was in my locker when I returned from the Sauna. His reasoning was "Another member thought it was their locker". Yet there was no other member present when I approached my locker to find him crouched down re-positing my belongings. Lifetime recommended I file a police report and press charges against their employee (He is a young kid). While I was upset that money was stolen, ruining this kids life over an impulsive/immature poor decision doesnt seem justified.I can take a loss, but the Principle of the matter is - Lifetime knows they can fallback on their clause to avoid liability...while throwing their employees under the bus.. Pathetic. As a "Founding Member" of Lifetime, I have experienced the total opposite from their advertised brand. Below are a few issues that Ive encountered and Brian G. should be able to attest to my Patience and Perseverance throughout these ordeals. While some of these issues below have been resolved, I want to make sure FUTURE Members get a glimpse of what I went through. Below are snap shots of the ordeals: 1. Sales Representative - Not responding to my emails when I would inquire about classes. However, before I signed up, he would email and call me everyday. I informed Brian by sending him the email chain; he immediately apologized for the service I received and assigned another member adviser to assist me. 2. Being lied to, about the Kids Policy and accessibility to the facility - Before signing up - I told the agent I had a child under 12 who works out with me. He said she would have access to the gym NOT just the Kids academy. I was then embarrassed and spoken to very condescending when reps approached my daughter and I working out. 3. Being promised a Lifetime Gym Bag for signing up as a Founding Member - Promised this and I still never received a Gym Bag 4. Manager David who abrasively pushed my arm in an attempt to display an Alpha Presence. He then denied ever touching me and said I was Making the story up and playing victim - Defamation of Character! He then threatened to cancel my membership because "he could". I reported this internally and Lifetime Reviewed the Surveillance footage on 8/29 which clearly showed him push me. He no longer works there and I received an Apology from Lifetime. 5. Representative made very questionable/offensive statements when I was filing the complaint with her regarding this incident with David. "Unfortunately we live in an imperfect world" - "We are just not use to your guys ensemble.." (I had a guest with me who is of mixed Ethnicity).. I have all the conversations recording and sent a portion to Lifetimes Corp. They reviewed and I received an apology from Lifetime. I still have the recordings if needed. I have never voiced my experience publicly because the majority of the issues were resolved, however, my claim being denied was UNETHICAL and SIMPLY WRONG! Over $ LIEFTIME (i know its spelled incorrectly), is now going to lose a huge advocate.

I walk into Lifetime on Wednesday 5/6/2015 after a being out for several months. Looking forward to getting my workout going again. I go to my executive locker and it wont open. No Problem I think this has happened a few times. The attendant does his thing etc.. Opens the locker and its not my stuff. The attendant looks up my last name and says... "I guess they moved you" so Im like whatever. So he opens that locker and theirs an envelope in it that has a renewal contract in it. So Im like wheres my stuff? I have all my stuff in this locker and I have been paying every month so where is it. I go to the manager and she questions me and asks me "are you sure you didnt takes your stuff home?" Im like what gives! At this point Im saying to myself what they are trying to do here, drive me insane. The general manager calls a few people and tells me we have no idea where my stuff is but we will call you on Friday once we can get to the bottom of this. I say OK fine call me. Im not able work out because they took my stuff. Fast forward to today 5/8/2015 Lifetime called me and they said they took my stuff out of my locker to provoke me into signing a new contract. Thats why there was a contract in an empty locker. And then after I didnt come back for several months they donated my stuff to goodwill. The manager then proceeds to apologize and say she will give me a hundred bucks or something stupid and a free month for my inconvenience. This is how they treat a VIP member that has been paying $450 every month since they opened. (( My Stuff Stolen From Lifetime Fitness Management)) 2 Pairs Nike Airmax $185 each. 4 pairs Nike socks $20 each. 4 sets of apple earbuds $75 each. 2 pairs Reef flip flops $55 each. 4 sets of Nike workout cloths shirt $70/shorts $50 totaling $120 each. 1 bottle of Chanel bleu $85. 2 books, face lotion, electric razor, toiletries, sunscreen collection est. $120. 6-8 months of locker storage fees @ $120 a month I really hope someone in high management reads this and does the right thing! I hate complaining but this is horrible service.

5 stars for Yoga program and facility!! 1 star for sales 1 star for kids club NIGHTTIME (5 stars AFTERNOON) Im a working mom and only have time to work out after work. I was very excited and had head great things about the kids club for my 2 year old. I toured it during the day and its truly awesome....ONLY if you bring your kids during the afternoon. The kids club is open till 8pm, so I went to drop her off at 7 that evening to catch a class. They close ALL kids areas at 7 and corral the kids (older and younger together) into a hallway and seating area for ipad use at 7. No access to the toy or play areas for toddlers, just a bare hall and some chairs. The kids club staff told me evening hours are not a good time to bring toddlers. I was surprised and disappointed after the salesman told me what a first class experience the kids club was. He compared my kids experience coming at night to a retail store closing early....nice analogy except my kid is a human being, not a pair of pants. He also proceeded to tell me how most people dont keep their toddlers up that late. Thank you LifeTime for taking the opportunity to also insult my parenting, you are indeed a class act. Needless to say I didnt leave my child there. If your hours state you are open to 8...I would absolutely expect that a child dropped off at noon and a child dropped of at 7pm would be given the same level of care and access to the facility. This is just not acceptable for the price you pay for membership, nor appropriate for the children that are there from 7-8. On the flip side the Yoga classes are AMAZING. Excellent top notch instructors and facility. Unfortunately my child would have to play in a hallway with older kids on tablets while I work out and I dont feel good about that.
