SLOW, OVERPRICED, UNPROFESSIONAL. I took my car in for a broken power window and it took them THREE days to fix. Not only that they charged me nearly $500. When asked what was taking so long they blamed it on not having the part. They actually tried to blame the part taking so long to get there on the WEATHER and TRAFFIC! Wow... It had rained for a few hours that morning. Traffic in the Bay Area is slow, but not that slow. Take your car here if you want to get scammed and given the run-around. Otherwise, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They threw in a free oil change but when you add in the cost of the rental car it was still nearly $500 to fix my window. And dont forget it took three days. Smh.

Needless to say I was not pleased! I looked up local car repair shops, and luckily Advanced Auto had good reviews - and now I know why! I dropped my car off and the gentleman was so friendly! He understood that I didnt live in town and was feeling distressed. So he sourced the part needed, and worked on my car immediately, giving me frequent updates. Within a few hours I was on my way home with a great understanding of what went wrong (he even showed me the broken part and gave me a mini auto shop lesson) ... as well as a discount :) Its not easy to give a car repair place 5 stars since its not a venue I WANT to spend my money on - but they deserve it!

My experience here was great, I was helped by a gentleman by the name Chris, I was given what I feel to be a fair estimate for future service and was very comfortable asking questions. I did not detect a pushy up sale feeling you often get when you are visiting an auto mechanic. That makes all the difference in the world when it comes to making a choice who I will allow to work on my vehicle. The shop was clean and was full of repairs... another great sign as I assume others share my experience.

Awesome service, my alternator kicked the bucket and they had my car in and out the same day. Professional and considerate employees even offered to give me a ride into work. AAA and my tow truck driver highly recommended them. They provided reasonable pricing on parts. In addition I received a discount for my AAA membership. Should I have any future service needs, I will be going back. I would recommend them to anyone who values fast, dependable service without the run around. -Angela

This was a good shop for many years. I took car in for alternator diagnosis. Tom says the problem might not be the alternator. Then gives me a bid of $397 to install a new(rebuilt) alternator ($149 at NAPA), that would equate to $250 for less than an hour work. This was done to my Son, who is not stupid but is trusting. Livermore has many good shop-. You will be better served by NOT going to advanced Auto! -j

I recently took in my BMW because I was having some issues and the check engine light was illuminated . Tim gave me a sweet deal on some service that needed to be done and as soon as I knew it I was back on the road safe and sound headed to work . Highly recommend these group of skilled techs to any friend or family member . Thanks again guys be back soon for some routine maintenance.

My friend recommended, I took my car to Advanced Auto recently to diagnose a potentially scary engine noise. The guys there were very friendly and I was able to make an appointment immediately. I was able to get a ride to work, and mid-day I got a call letting me know what the issue was.

Did not perform work I had requested in writing; instead, found a brake problem and never fixed the original issue. They had my vehicle for 2 weeks and when I picked it up, I had to bring it back TWICE to get it right. Dont use them.

Tim at Advanced Auto was great. Had leaking radiator and had extended warranty he started claim right away and got me done same day. I will use them for all my automotive needs.
